This place is great! The front desk were freindly helpfull and attentive. The pool is also nice indoor/outdoor. HotTub was perfect , not too hot. Drinks at bar were priced fairly for once , Bloody Mary was only 10 bucks , most hotels I've been to as nice as this, would be 14-17! The rooms were clean, tightly rolled towels, plenty of them, bed was comfortable, pillows nice, great stand-up shower with conditioners and soaps, even had dispenser on counter for lotion! wow. very comforatable visit and a great value for 165 on Priceline. Cant say much more , I will be back there again!

Hotel's Favourite
Clean and renovated hotel by the airport. We came here early because of the impending hurricane and were pleased to get an email from the manager to give all of the details of what would happen during the storm. The staff made us feel welcome and were understanding of our situation. Enjoyed the free shuttle to the airport.
The hotel is definitely suited for airport travel and is not near any other amenities. There were restaurants a short Uber ride away.

A local resident here and needed to use this hotel since I booked a VERY early flight out of SRQ; what was I thinking. Although hotel isn't located on the main route to airport it was still convenient and the shuttle only took about 10 minutes or less to arrive at SRQ. Check in was quick, room was clean and had no issues. I didn't use the lobby amenities so I am unsure of the specifics there but the bar did have customers. If I ever book another insanely early flight I will stay here again.

At almost $400 a night after tax, this hotel is a HIGHWAY ROBBERY!! First, let me start off by saying I was traveling for work and flew directly to SRQ so the hotel location made sense to me and my needs. However, that was the only decent thing about this property. For almost $400 a night at the bare minimum I would expect my bed to be made daily and towels to be refreshed when necessary, BUT this property only "tidies" up your room every other day, meaning for my two night stay, I never had my bed made or my dirty towels replaced with clean ones. Next, if I could give 0 stars just for the shower alone, I would. It never gets hot, and the water pressure is absolutely terrible! I have water hoses at home with better pressure than that! If you have long, thick hair like me, save your money and go elsewhere because you will never get the shampoo out. Lastly, I would expect some type of breakfast to be included in this property's absurd rate, but NOPE! You can purchase a sit down breakfast or the buffet option for an additional $16+ a day. I'm sorry, but this is probably the worst double tree I have ever stayed in with lousy front desk staff that seem annoyed at doing the bare minimum of their job. The 1 star review is for the comfy bed. That's it. My opinion, save your money and book a motel because the service and treatment will be the same.

Regarding stayover service, while we find that most of our guests prefer if we only enter their rooms every so often, we'd be happy to offer you additional service on request. Should you decide to give us another chance -- and we hope you do-- we are happy to offer you additional housekeeping service, as often as you'd like (even multiple times a day), at no extra charge, if you request. Moreover, please note, our pricing is dictated by supply and demand. We are currently in Florida's tourist season. While the rates are indeed high compared to other times of the year, we are actually priced below just about all our comparable competitors, given that we are offering introductory pricing as the newest brand to enter the Sarasota airport market.

“Soundproof room” is a joke. Our tv didn’t work and the staff couldn’t fix it so we were moved to the only remaining room next to the storage room/ service elevator . We were awakened at 730 by a loud humming buzzing noise like a helicopter. you’d think an end room would be quiet but, no. there was a huge junk pike with heavy equipment outside. Still don’t know what the noise is. It’s 9 am and still going. The only reason I haven’t left yet is that I brought earplugs. The food was ok but again the restaurant was so noisy with multiple loud tvs on various channels we ate quickly and left. No option for a quiet meal after a hard day of being stranded at the airport.. The coffee in the room was horrible. . There was no way to darken the room. Only flimsy semi transparent curtains. The bed and pillows were great and the place was clean the staff polite but all in all not a place I’d recommended if your sensitive to noise. The rooms should come equipped with earplugs and eye masks , but that wouldn’t look to good.

The pictures do not look like it in person. The tiles were cracking coming off the floor in the bathroom the toilet ran nonstop. The food and restaurant was overly priced and was not good at all and the staff when you talk to them gave the impression like you were bothering them.

This hotel is disgusting. Every single part of our experience at this place was terrible. This hotel is so far below what I would consider Holiday Inn standards, I am frankly shocked it is still open. The entire place, from the parking lot to the rooms and pool, is filthy, and clearly not well managed. On top of that, the staff is among the most rude, unhelpful and incompetent that I have seen in many years of travels all over the world. The staff was unhelpful at every single encounter, beginning with check-in, and push back on every request, even asking for towels. The lobby, rooms and common areas were gross and not well kept. There is constantly water on the lobby floor from the staff failing to keep it clean. People party in the parking lot until early in the morning, completely trashing the parking lot.
The pool was so over-chlorinated, that it ruined all of our bathing suits and caused everyone's eyes to burn for HOURS. One in our party laid on the floor for 2 hours after returning from the pool because his eyes felt like they were on fire. On top of that, there were absolutely no towels available at the pool or extra ones for the room. We were repeatedly told that the hotel was completely out of towels. How does a manager even let that happen? We had to use my beach towels to shower.
Every single thing about this hotel screams gross mismanagement. Not only will I never return to this hotel, I may never visit another Holiday Inn again.

We sincerely apologize regarding your disappointment with your recent stay. We are one of few area hotels to use a professional third party for pool chemicals, Galaxy Pools, one of the largest and best regarded swimming pool contractors in our area. Most hotels leave chemical treatment to non-expert staff; but we spare no expense when it comes to safety. We will report your feedback to our vendor; but we are confident that, per their expert assessment, the chlorine levels are optimized at the safest levels. Regarding your other comments, we thank you for your feedback. COVID-19 has forced us to reduce staffing levels to limit possible exposure. To date we have had no cases at the hotel and among or staff. However, we will be taking action to better keep up with lobby and parking lot use during busy times, as, like all hotels, we unfortunately have guests that litter the grounds.

We checked in early evening on Friday and first thing we noticed was the toilet seat was completely loose. We left the hotel shortly after check-in to get dinner and reported the problem to the front desk and he said he would check it immediately. When we returned about an hour later, the seat still wasn't fixed but we thought maybe it would be fixed the next morning so no big deal. We settled in and unpacked and around 10 or 11 went to run warm water to freshen up before bed and nothing. Tried the water in the shower and it was also cold. I called the front desk and they informed me that there was no hot water in the hotel and it wouldn't be fixed until Monday. He said if we checked out within an hour he would refund our money. If we stayed for the weekend, he would discount us $25. What??? Who wants to stay with no hot water? We immediately packed up and found another hotel at a higher cost I might add. Why didn't the manager contact all the guests to let them know of the water problem? Horrible choice on their part. The hotel from our observation is a bit worn, I can't comment on anything other than the customer service we received and the way they handled a serious issue to traveler's comfort. We could understand this was beyond their control but not notifying guests was unacceptable.

Please accept our sincere apologies again regarding last weekend's mechanical malfunction. As we discussed, the problem was determined just minutes before your arrival; and I was still in the process of personally contacting all of our upcoming arrivals. The issue is now completely addressed, with hot water at the hotel now powered by the most powerful and advanced commercial heater system on the market-- ordered immediately after the incident. If you decide to give us another chance, we can absolutely guarantee piping hot water in all our rooms.

The room was awful. Manager was not better.
I reported the issues on multiple occasions. I was told that there was no other rooms to change to. The manager implied that since there was 24hr maintenance I should have made time to have all the issues resolved. We were there for a tournament which means that we were out of the room by 6am and wasn’t back till 6-7pm. The last thing I want is hotel maintenance in the room while we are trying to wind down for the night. These things should have been resolved before we checked in.
Phone had to be replaced
Bed kept shifting with every movement
Housekeeping only showed up once and only made one bed and did not replenish anything.
Lightbulb out
Shower broke
No water pressure
Broken soap dispenser with sharp edges

We visit Sarasota quite often but this was the first time in this area.
This hotel is basically in the industrial area with not much more than that.
The hotel itself is being renovated and is very pretty, but although new additions weren’t working correctly. The AC unit couldn’t cool down as well, maybe because of door to hall and adjoining room had large openings( you could see light coming through).It ran on and off every 3 minutes. Complained about no hot water,, no response until the second complaint which you couldn’t get a correct temp.
Believe it, were not prudes, but seeing other guests with their pants below their underwear,?
The rooms are not soundproof as stated.
There is a restaurant there but we chose to go elsewhere.
Again, pretty upgrades, but need to tweek the place.
Another area would also help.
