The mattress and pillows are so soft and comfortable! The room is very spacious and extremely clean. The bathroom setup is great with wall-mounted pump containers of bath gel, shampoo and conditioner in the large walk-in shower. And, the shower is superb.. plenty of pressure. The bathroom is also extremely clean. The little frig even has a small freezer department I would highly recommend Magnolia too everyone.

Tbe hotel was very clean and modern and the staff was great. Please note they have a pool shared with next hotel, just a short walk away. The room was nice with a microwave and small fridge. It is minimalist because it only had one drawer in the whole room and one wall hook. The breakfast selections are limited but you have a Perkins and a Bob Evans very near. Kudos for 24/7 coffee available.

The Room smells clean, and the bed was comfortable , excellent staff, very nice swimming pool, was fun the beers were cold at the pool bar, nice selection for breakfast! Plenty of parking spaces very clean they also have a nice fire pit with a complementary Barbecue grill so bring your favorite meat! And cook to your likings

We were in Sarasota for a large invitational rowing regatta. Winter on the area is already crowded, but having a regatta, a circus and apparently a soccer tournament in the area really increased the traffic and crowds. We normally stay at the hotels near all the shopping and big mall at the exit North of there, but they were too full and too expensive to accommodate our team. So, the team manager booked the Magnolia Pointe instead. Being away from the crazy traffic around the park and shopping area was so much more relaxing. It was also easier to access the venue from the opposite side. Our stay included the very convenient and well stocked breakfast. It’s not fancy, but it was perfect for our stay and had every thing we needed. Your staff was friendly, professional, and a pleasure to work with. Next time we will call you first.

This hotel costed less, but was much better than other options in the area (we often come to Sarasota for short stays). Everything sparkling clean. Staff very hospitable and helpful, everyone super friendly. Price included good continental breakfast in the hotel - nothing big, but clean and comfortable. You can buy an a la carte breakfast in the "sister" hotel (next building), but we didn't feel the need for it.
We switched to this hotel after reading the reviews and realizing it was a total of $200 less than the hotel that we booked originally, of similar class. And we were happy we did. Very clean rooms, everything works, no issues whatsoever. We'll definitely book it again.

The hotel is overall nice. However I don’t know if it was worth the price. I felt like they charged too much for the room. It did have a kitchenette but nothing out of the ordinary. The towels were dirty upon arrival and the room smelled of food when we got there as well. The smell never went away. I looked everywhere to see if someone had left food in the room. Luckily they did change my towels after the first day. Breakfast was good and had a nice variety. No complaints there. Again it was just overpriced for what it was.

We were a little disappointed in our stay. Overall, the hotel is nice enough and clean. That said, the first night, I had to call for replacement bedding as the sheets smelled really sour, like they had been left in the wash too long before drying. I made my own bed once I got new sheets, but the person working the front seemed bothered by having to “find” a clean set—-which was odd. It’s alarming to think there would be a short supply of clean sheets and why would anyone expect someone who is paying to sleep in smelly sheets? I didn’t pitch a fit, I just kindly asked for new sheets.
When checking out, the laminated sheet in the room has a listing for “express checkout.” I followed instructions and called the front desk. The person says,”we don’t offer express checkout.” What? So I brought the sheet down to the desk and showed them and they said,”oh, wow, well I don’t know what that means.”
As said, the place was ok enough, but I am not sure we will stay here again.

We stayed at the Magnolia for three nights. We were there to see the sights in Sarasota and St Petersburg. When we checked into the hotel the room was lacking in drawer space and the tv had to be programmed. We fixed the tv but were disappointed at the lack of storage space. Krista at the front desk was wonderful. She upgraded us to a bigger room with a dresser and shelves. She was so kind and helpful. One night we were so tired that we wanted food delivered. David told us about great pizza places and we had food delivered. We had difficulty with our ringling museum tickets. The young man with glasses on duty the morning of March 5th. Helped us with the computer and printer.
Our only complaint was that there was no dishwashing liquid in the kitchen and that the bath towels were really thin and small. Breakfast was great and the staff wonderful. The pool is gorgeous. There is road noise but hey you are near the highway.
I recommend this hotel as a comfortable place with good service and value
