I would have left but it was too late to change hotels. Very old and dirty. The rooms were cheaply put together, paint chipping off the doors and walls. Not clean not kept or up. I slept in my clothes because I was afraid to use the poorly washed sheets.

The room was very dirty.The floors were so bad my sox were filthy. No lights over the sink so made it very hard to shave. Pillows were so thin and when I asked for an extra pillow they never delivered one. The bed spread was filthy that I took it off the bed. The breakfast hours are to short so it made it hard to have breakfast so I missed it. I wouldn't stay here again when I come back to visit family in Sarasota.

Traveled with 2 dogs, 2 kids, husband, wife and my mother. Booked two rooms. One being pet friendly. Called to double check after booking online. Staff reassured us that we would have rooms side by side and a pet friendly room available. At check in my mother had to use the bathroom after a long travel day. In the lobby one was out of order and other one was full of explosive poop all over the toilet and even on toilet paper dispenser. After this was brought to staffs attention, staff says well I just got here. We went to our rooms which weren’t beside each other. Pet friendly room was DISGUSTING!!! Even our 2 dogs didn’t want to go in the room. The ceiling was full of mold and the bathroom door hinges were so rusted the door couldn’t close, would only bounce back after being pushed with force. Shower was GROSS. Kids begged us to not stay here. We didn’t even unpack and left asap. Staff didn’t ask us why. We went to the check in desk and said we are not staying here. Your rooms are disgusting. Staff didn’t refuse our money back. Staff then proceeded to the room to have a look at what set us off. We left and didn’t look back. Forgot to mentioned the rough crowd hanging around the second level of the inn starring at us. Did not feel safe staying even if the rooms would have been decent. Even our German Shepherd was uneasy with the company of the other hotel guests.

During my stay at the Days Inn hotel, I was impressed by the exceptional service provided by the friendly staff. Will find another hotel to stay at the next time we visit the area. First room smelled of bleach and chlorine, second room was mold and mildew. I took our washcloths and wiped the floors down, it was obvious they hadnt been mopped in a while. The beds werent comfortable. One morning the office was closed with what wouldve been the free breakfast time. The pool was dirty. Overall, it was a place to sleep.

This is the worst hotel ever. My room was filthy, toilet tissue looked wet, not tissue holder, mold in the bathroom, bathroom door paint peeled of, stains on sheets, blood on the wall. I had to call the police due to strangers knocking on my door during the night. I felt like my life was in danger. The security chain on the door didn't work. I requested a refund and did not get it. Do NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!

We did not stay here due to a $200 pet fee that was not mentioned on the web page, but was still charged for the stay. The front desk person was very rude and spoke very little english. I will never stay at another Windham owned hotel.

Lobby smelled like smoke as I registered. This is not a 100% smoke free motel if guests can sit outside on balcony/walkway and smoke right outside my door. I was hesitate to check in as I thought I had booked a hotel with an inside elevator as a solo traveler. I also did not think I could get my money back as it was booked through a 2nd party. I entered my room and wanted to cry. Took a picture of black mold growing where ceiling was falling apart and returned to lobby. I was able to find a hotel downtown and AARP did refund my money. Do Not Stay here!!

Ceiling leaking and moldy, stains on sheets, mattress pad, lamp shades. Lamps did not work. Some guy was sleeping in his car outside of the room. Did not get my money back for room. Hotel says they are investigating, however, the pet fee will not be returned. We never stayed in room, had to find a nicer hotel.

This hotel was a decent hotel for the price the only thing I wish they offered smoking rooms but it was nice that you could actually just open the door and stand there and smoke the pool was fine but I think it should be open 24 hours because what makes the difference there's no lifeguard on duty at all day or night overall it was a great day
