I have been visiting Holly Lodge for about 15 years. The Lodge is in a beautiful location and the garden is beautifully maintained. You couldn't ask for a better welcome and the breakfast was perfect, with plenty of choice for those who want full English or something a little more healthy. The rooms are comfortable, with the added attraction of...

Stayed at Holy Lodge for 4 nights with a colleague. The two rooms were clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was stunning, a real treat to set you up for the day! The owners were very accommodating and friendly. A lovely stay in a beautiful lodge, so much so, we'll be back in April!

What a beautiful place this is! And extremely good value - we've paid a lot more at some places that are nowhere near as nice as this. My mum and I had a twin room in the converted stable block, it was clean, comfy and so quiet; pleasantly decorated and furnished in a style that isn't modern but suited the...

A very clean and hospitable country B+B. A real quality establishment with attention to detail and quality products. We found everyone really friendly and the food plentyfull. We were amazed at the tranquil surroundings and breakfast in the conservatory is a must. This is a high standard, peaceful and really clean B+B and is well worth lots more than we...

Sometimes customer service is so simple people overlook the obvious. Not here. A warm relaxed welcome to a traditional style B&B. Clean, everything works, good wifi, nice breakfast and 3 minutes form Portland College where I was working for the day. I'll be back.

Holly Lodge is in a lovely spot in the countryside. Minutes away from Ravenshead. nice size room with en-suite. Definitely not uber modern, but clean and comfortable. French doors in my room. Not sure if all rooms have them. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Wardrobe, desk, chair and a double bed. Freshly cooked breakfast, along with cereal, fruit, toast...

Wonderful find for a relaxing break. The room was well equipped, of a good size and very quiet and pleasantly located. The house was in good sized grounds with a lovely garden and charm. There was a relaxed and friendly ambience and our host, Simon was most friendly and attentive. The breakfasts were superb. Fresh fruit salad was particularly good...

Stayed here as a stopover during a cycling. Was greeted by the owner's father who told me that they were busy and full so my room was in the main house, not the annexe that looked like a converted barn or stables. The single room I had gave the impression of one only used when all the others were. the...
