Expensive fee to get in, compared to any Florida State Park ($5/per person here, $6 per car load at state parks). While the Forest Service subsidizes the logging industry to cut down our national forests, they don't price this recreation area so you can afford to bring your family very often! Your kids will also breathe a lot of 2nd...

This is a beautiful spring with beautiful surroundings and a nice nature trail that lead to another spring. We were planning on camping but as it got later on in the day it began to thunder storm and it was heavily raining, we weren't able to get our tent up by then and it wouldn't have lasted long any way...

Twists and turns on this swift creek are amazing, you should be adept at limbo to get under a lot of the fallen trees. There are a great set of rapids, this run is not for a novice and if you not experienced paddler you could be in trouble by trying it. Mo

recently took a team building trip down the "juniper springs run" called ahead to make reservations as it was a busy weekend, asked ahead of time on all the rates and what was needed.... 1st surprise of the day, upon arrival learned entrance fee $5.15 a person, not a car load as told over the phone. once our party was...

Price of admission is by person which is more expensive than Florida state parks. The campgrounds are nice and the cool spring water is awesome on a hot day. The nature trail was nice but short. I would not recommend any canoeing unless the water rises after some rain. The canoe creek was pitiful. Nice area to grill out and...

The springs were wonderful and perfect for experienced kayakers. It is a 7 mile trip with many twists and turns. The kayak launch is almost difficult to get to with a very long walkway and you have to maneuver your kayak on top of a cart..also they are almost overkill on "no disposable anything" by searching all items taken. Staff...

We stayed there 4 nights. When we got to the campground a sign said that it was full, but we asked and they had sites available, so we were happy to get in but wondered why they had that sign up. I was at this campground years ago and remember really loving it. This time, however, the highway noise was...

Went on a family trip to Orlando and decided to spend one day away to ourselves for some adventure. I had read that kayaking Juniper Springs is a must-do for kayakers, so we headed up to Ocala National Forest to check it out. The recreation area itself seemed nice. I was surprised that in February the campground was already full....

We had a blast walking the trails with the kids at night. Went on the 7 mile canoe ride which was beautiful. The bathrooms and facilities where cleaned every night and morning. Had a great time in the pool which was nice and cool even though it was really cold.

We visited for 1 night right after Christmas to enjoy the unseasonably warm weather. It was the first stop on a road trip through FL and it was the perfect tropical introduction to the state. The water in the springs is pretty cold, but it's clear which made for awesome snorkelling. The tent campsites were clean and private -- very...
