One of the most beautiful natural campgrounds that my family has been to! The park rangers are so helpful, the grounds are well manicured yet natural. Nice walking trails, The Spring pool is beautiful. Super clean facilities. Wish we had s few more days to enjoy! We will certainly be back.

Of all the Crystal Clear Springs in the Ocala National Forest, Juniper has always been my favorite since I was kid. It almost creates disappointment in comparison when I visit other similar sights around the world, but none compare. Maybe it's nastalgia for a beloved childhood destination or just maybe Juniper Springs is really that amazing. Great for Families, Events,...

My kids and I visit Juniper frequently during the summer months. We always enjoy ourselves but the last time we were there, we were disappointed to see that the platform is now closed. This was is always the best part of the visit for my kids. I'm unsure why it was closed or if the closing is permanent, but the...

My wife, 12-year old son and I visited Juniper Springs earlier this month with the goal of relaxing away from the touristy areas and testing our mettle on Juniper Run via kayak. Upon arrival the Recreation Area is well maintained with ample parking, a well equipped snack bar/rental area and a beautiful swimming area. Very very nice, well staffed with...

There are rules, and for a reason! There is a lot of wildlife, people that understand this know how to conduct themselves, others don't believe, don't care, or blatantly disregard rules put in place for everyone's and everything's safety. And then THEY write the less favorable reviews. It's a great place BECAUSE of the management!

Let me start out by saying Juniper Springs has beautiful grounds. The swimming area was nice. The 5.00 per person pricetag kind of got me. We had been to Rainbow Springs earlier which was a much prettier park with more to do and paid 2.00 per person to get in. When we arrived at almost the end of the day...

Built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, Juniper Springs is a great example of architecture enhancing natural beauty. The swimming spring is quaint and nicely kept up, with a log powerhouse structure turned into a simple museum explaining the history of the springs. The campground, trails and pavilions are great, and even though swimming is not allowed in...

This is it the most beautiful spring in Florida! Take a tube and enjoy the crystal clear water. Take a jump off the jump platform. Fun for all. Beautiful canoe/ kayak run. Picnic area for lots of bbq. Camping is very rustic but if you are a tent camper go for it cause the spring is just a skip away!

Be aware that your camper is considered a vehicle as well as your tow vehicle. Any additional vehicles you may have with you must fit on the tiny pad designed only for your camper. Additional vehicles include a second car or truck or a boat. You will have to register and pay an additional fee per "vehicle" for parking in...
