We ended up here with a free room when the Wakulla lodge overbooked. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had bikes in our truck that they put in their office overnight, got a bottle of wine & wine glasses since the evening happy hour was already over. Just very friendly and accommodating. Valet park (we did not have...

Location was perfect, 2 blocks from Capital buildings, many restaurants around the corner. Staff was friendly, efficient, attentive. Ambiance fits the history of the area, little iron tables and chairs on the walkway to sit and ppl watch while the valet goes to get your car. Absolutely beautiful hotel. Thank you all.

The hotel outside and inside is architectural beautiful and the staff friendly. BEWARE there is a night club right across the street and no parking on site. We booked the loft (room 216) and it was horrible... nothing like the pictures (they use some photoshop). The stairs are narrow (a piece was cracked), there is one bathroom downstairs (tile is...

If TripAdvisor rated for location, the Governors Inn would get a 10!! I love this old place, and its location, but its a shame they have not done anything to update this property since inception I don't believe. The staff is very kind, and its clean, but with such a prestige name this old beauty could use some lipstick... This...

I could cry over how uncomfortable this place is -broken widow shades., an old cigarette and lighter in the robe, someone dragging trash cans at 11 pm just behind my room and then there's the train all night -go 15 mins out if necessary but don't do this

If you want to stay in a hotel close to Florida's Capitol, there are none any closer than the Governors Inn. Though the place could use some minor refurbishment, it is clean and comfortable. There are a number of bars and restaurants within a very short walk. Over the years I have stayed here a number of times and always...

We blocked off rooms in January 2016 for our daughter's wedding on Saturday, January 14, 2017. From the beginning to end the staff was FABULOUS! I was able to negotiate rates that included parking for all of guests from out of town. While I dealt with different people over the course of the year every single one of them was...

I rented room 200- the suite with windows facing the front of the hotel. I am from out of town and had absolutely no idea that this hotel faces a bar. It is now 1:05AM and it is so loud in this room - thumping bass, yelling, shouting and people talking over the noise. I don't know how other rooms...

Great location in downtown Tallahassee. Rooms however need refreshed. Lots of minor cosmetic issues. Tiny TV's -- use your tablet -- it's bigger. No comfortable seating in rooms. Downtown hotel has advantages for business, but I'm not sure I'd stay here again. Price seemed high for the quality of the room.

We spent 2 nights here We found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful and the breakfast more than adequate. It was very pleasant to sit in the comfortable lounge with a complimentary drink. Nice rooms and a great location-we would definitely stay here again.
