We arrived early. The lady at the desk took our phone number and called us when the room was ready. The room was very large and clean. The bed was very comfortable! The breakfast choices were plentiful.

Shuttling between seeing a Yankees game in the evening and driving South on I-75 to take in some of the other MLB teams we called upon the Hampton Inn for an overnight stay.
Hotel met our needs and checked off all the boxes. Room was clean and ready when we checked in at 4pm. Front desk clerk was friendly and professional. Parking was plentiful and easy in/out to continue our journey. Breakfest had many items in a clean and comfortable environment. Good stay.

What a difference when you have a general manager that cares and an awesome staff to work with!

Two years ago, we stayed at this hotel and it was horrible. No manager in sight, rooms in need of repair and dirty. Definitely not up to Hilton standards.

Fast forward two years and a complete turnaround! The GM Mark Clausen is the hardest working, hands on manager I have ever seen at a hotel and not to mention an all around nice guy to deal with. He cares about his guests and his staff and it shows. The hotel was spotless and the employees, including Mark, were always cleaning something. Our room was very clean and well up to Hilton standards. The breakfast, although not the usual hot breakfast due to Covid, was still very good and had a decent variety. The staff that we dealt with on a daily basis knew our names and welcomed us every morning to breakfast. Crystal, Jade and David were an absolute pleasure to deal with and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. There is no "its not my job" mentality there, due to Covid everyone is doing everyone else's job. Mark the manager was even driving the shuttle! These people are at work every day, risking their own health, for the comfort and convenience of their guests.

I didn't say much about the room because, as I said, it was Hilton standard. Enough said. That's why we stay there, because of that standard. But it gets to that standard because of the management and staff. The owner of this hotel, whoever they are, are lucky to have Mark Clausen and his team there. They meet that standard every day. We will definitely be back!

If I can give creo points I will give it to this hotel !!!!, to say the least I have been traveling the world and by far this is the worse hotel ever. My room was 201 and on my arrival at 11:30 pm with a 12 years old kid the was a strong smoking and cannabis small that despite a lot of Lysol etc didn’t ho away , when I approached the front desk they told me that the hotel was full and nothing couldn’t be done , next morning I complained again and as per the morning front desk “personnel went up and there wasn’t any smell “ at that time I requested to please clean my room . We went to Bush garden and spent until night time , when we arrived the room wasn’t clean , I again talked this time with the manager and she said that “they were well aware that in that room some one did a big party and it wasn’t supposed to be booked until cleaned . My son got sick with cough immediately after they offered a refund that it was never done , my other party , friend on another room had a problem with the shower that that they didn’t fixed . This is a terrible hotel with a terrible personnel , not clean at all so if you are thinking on booking, look somewhere else and this hotel was not cheap at all

The room and service was very good. Please request a room away from the road if you don't want to hear the traffic.
The location was perfect if you want to go to Busch Gardens because you are literally across the street.
They offer a pretty good vary breakfast that is a little more than just a bag with a bagel/bun.
I want to shout a special thanks to Pam (front desk night clerk) who went over and above to make our special couple vacation a success. I hurt my knee at the beginning of our mini vacation, she went out her way to get a wheelchair, bring me ice and extra towels. She was so thoughtful which made our trip to be nice and I was able to get around with comfort.
Thank you Pam and I wish you the best

Located literally across the street from Busch Gardens so perfect location if going to the parks. The staff was great. So why only 3 stars? Sadly, we had to go to elsewhere for coffee/breakfast (due to tasteless coffee and microwaved food being served). Lastly, the beds were fine but the pillows were awful and gave us headaches (which was reported but no action was taken). We are Hilton Honors members but will most likely be staying elsewhere when visiting Tampa in the future since we value/need a good nights sleep, good coffee and do not eat or enjoy toxic/rubberized/nasty microwaved food.

Very convenient location directly across the street from Busch Gardens Tampa. It was also a quick 15 to 20 minute ride to the Port of Tampa to connect with my cruise. The hotel is nice and modern. Also very clean. Housekeeping comes really early to see if u want your room serviced like 9am! Just let them know you want it later and they will come back. The surrounding area is less than to be desired but there are quite a few eating establishments within walking distance and some are 24hrs, big plus. The front desk staff was nice, friendly and efficient especially the two young ladies working on Valentine's with a smile. Breakfast was just ok for me. I would like to have seen different options on the second morning but everything was edible. Would stay again if necessary.

When we arrived at the location for checkin, the front desk staff was not helpful. The bathrooms at the pool needed attending as well as the gym. The breakfast staff were behind closed doors and you had to ask for anything you wanted. This is not typically for this hotel.

Staff is friendly. Old and somewhat rundown hotel. Toilet ran all the time and shower water temp was either scalding or cold. Hotel is not in a very safe area. The bagged breakfast was questionable as the cold items were room temperature.

my wife and I stayed here for a 3 day 2 night stay for Busch Gardens. wow what a great trip. we arrived at the hotel early around 12:30pm. we checked in. where we were treated exceptional including free waters and cookies as Hilton Honors members. we went to our room got ready for Busch Gardens and the Hampton Inn called us a complimentary Lyft. (which we took all 3 days and returned in one once).the next day had the complimentary breakfast which was very simple but fresh. eggs' sausage and potatoes. of course a home made waffle yum. coffee and juice. they had fresh fruit ,cereals, assortments of bread and muffins, and hot oatmeal.
next bought add ons at the front desk to our Busch Garden ticket all day dining $41.00 which was $9.00 cheaper than Busch Gardens. my wife told me this "staying here they make me feel famous"
on the last day we enjoyed another awesome breakfast and checked out. after that they got us a complimentary Lyft to Busch Gardens again and another one back to the hotel.
each and every hotel employee we interacted with went above and beyond their duties. it was certainly a great value for the buck anf they treat you like you are famous!!!

On a good traffic day maybe a half an hour. That also depends on the route and time of day. The hotel in in the north part of town across from Busch Gardens and the airport is in the western part of town like going to Clearwater. Still a good place to stay.

I am not sure that I remember but I do know that I fixed my wife hot tea in the room and they had plenty in the lobby. I do know that when I go back to Tampa this will be the hotel of my choice unless someone else is paying for it and says otherwise. You will like it.
