Our trip was not a fun trip, my sister was in ICU at Tampa General Hospital, difficult and scary, we didn't know what will be next. Joseph checked me in and always was courteous and excellent on his customer service. Mark and Jan at the bar were the cheerleaders of the PM crew, keep us forgetting about the hard day and cheer us to have a better one, from a simple chat to asking how our day went, both of them ensured we were served and even allowed me and my nephews watch shark week. Thank you for making our stay smooth and stressed free.

I really love Hampton Inns....I know I have said that many times. But, because Hampton Inn is affiliated with Hilton, and because the Hilton Garden Inn is so close to the Tampa airport, we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed in our room however, but unlike Hampton Inns, there is no Continental Breakfast. Instead you pay $12.95 plus taxes per person for cold potatoes, cold eggs, and bacon. They call it a buffet, but you can get a much better breakfast at Hampton Inns which serves nearly identical foods and fruits, but in all my years using Hampton Inns, the breakfast foods were always hot when they needed to be and always tasty. The staff was pleasant. The amenities aren’t as we have come to expect from any of the Hampton Inns. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, but we were put into a room suited for handicapped persons which we felt we were depriving someone who could put the room to better use. There was also a pool outside the window and although we love children, having many grandchildren of our own, there was a lot of noise from children playing in and around the pool. After a long week, we needed rest before flying for five hours the next day. So, to get to the point, we have stayed at better Hilton’s in the past, and we will continue to use Hampton Inns when possible.

It is certainly understandable that you have a preference for a certain Hilton brand and might have noticed some differences when you stayed at a Hilton Garden Inn vs. Hampton Inn and Suites. I sincerely apologize for your breakfast experience. We did provide you with the room type that you reserved - but please know that anytime you are unhappy with your room you may simply call the front desk and we are happy to provide you with a room more suited to your needs! When I checked I did not see any requests associated with your room during your stay. Our pool closes at 10:00 p.m. and it is always quiet after that hour. I wish we had known that you had these concerns so that we could have addressed them by relocating your room and even upgrading you if it was available. It is always our goal to ensure your complete satisfaction when you stay with us! I hope that we have another opportunity to better serve you in the future! Silvana G. - Guest Service Manager

Room was large,very clean, and extremely quiet especially considering it’s close location to the airport. Staff was also very nice and made me feel welcome. Breakfast was great and fairly priced and it was a nice surprise to see complimentary coffee in the lobby in the morning.

We have stayed here before and always are pleased with our visits.
The location works well for us as it is only 5 minutes from the airport
Free parking is also a plus, as is our Hilton Honors perks.
This location is also only6-8 minutes from the International Mall, which has the best shopping in the area.
We never hear plane noise, especially being so close to the airport.
We highly recommend this hotel and plan to be back soon.

The actions of the staff turned what could have been a disaster into a wonderful stay. I made the arrangements through the Hilton reservation system (which is obviously in some offshore call center) and I was very clear of our one, single, need. As my wife is handicapped we must have a roll-in shower rather than a tub. I was very clear and had a long conversation with the agent and he told me I "most assuredly had a room with a roll-in shower reserved". When I arrived the clerk informed me that there was no indication that we needed a special shower and none were available. This was our single requirement as without it my wife cannot bathe and so the room was useless to us. We were faced with nowhere to stay at the very last minute. Fortunately, the manager was able to step in and upgrade us to a suite with the appropriate shower. We were given a beautiful room in what looks to be a nearly new hotel adjacent to the airport. The room was quiet and comfortable and the food we ordered from room service was delicious (and not outrageously expensive). The availability of food onsite was important as there are not a lot of dining options in that part of Tampa. We had a terrific stay and my wife was able to shower off the famous Florida humidity. I would recommend this property but beware of the Hilton reservation service. This is not the first time it has let me down.

I cannot imagine Housekeeping Services where they don't remove the tissues from your garbage bin or the used shampoo bottles. The hair on the floor wasnt vacuumed either. And yet the room had been cleaned :(

Stayed there for 7 nights. The breakfast was the exact same every single day - not one change.....surely they can introduce some variety. Even the variety of yoghurt was the same.

Excellent staff provided very respectful check-in. Good make to order breakfast. However, must still pay even if diamond member. Room very clean. Bed very comfortable. Room could use update in some furniture--like desk and tables and LED lights. Shower has very strong water pressure. Outside pool very nice and calming. Plenty of parking and convenient to the airport.

Such a nice experience. Great staff they really care. Silvana was the sweetest. The rooms were very clean. We were offered coupons for restaurants in the area and Silvana ensured we got all we needed and offered her knowledge of the best restaurants in the area.

I don’t write reviews often, but HGI Avion Park deserves one.

The entire staff (top to bottom) is warm and professional. There’s a real commitment to service that is rarely found in hotels post-covid.

Ellen and Donny at the front desk went above and beyond for us to change our reservation to a longer stay at the last minute when the hotel was sold out. Not only were they successful, but we had zero inconvenience, and they arranged it all with a smile.

The housekeeping staff on the second floor has been nothing short of a blessing. Alicia and the other ladies have graciously ensured that we are kept stocked with towels and linens every day.

Traveling for work with a family isn’t easy, but having a supportive hotel staff and a rock solid property makes work and life so much easier for us, and we greatly appreciate it.

This is by far the best hotel we have stayed at in almost seven months of traveling.

Desk staff unprofessional and dismissive of Major room issues. Room requests that were specified at time of booking and fully within this hotel’s ability to perform we’re dismissed.k Room hospitality area/kitchenette and bathroom not clean - hair, leftover food debris from previous occupant. Water leak reported but not addressed until the third report to staff on day of checkout. Overall dissatisfied with this establishment - unlike any Hilton experience I’ve encountered. Soured the trip completely.

Dear DVirtue007, I am so sorry that we disappointed you during your recent stay! Initially, you had reserved a king suite. Unfortunately our king suites do not adjoin to any other rooms making it impossible to fulfil the 'adjoining rooms' request. When you changed your room type to a standard room we were able to provide you with adjoining rooms by moving someone else's room to accommodate you - which we happily did. Our Chief Engineer did go up immediately to check the room but found no evidence of a leak however we did offer to relocate your room multiple times. We completely respect your choice not to change your room and for your inconvenience we extended you a $140.82 credit in restaurant and pantry purchases. This was equivalent to a complimentary room night. I do apologize for your experience and I hope that we have another opportunity to better serve you in the future. We take our guest feedback very seriously and it is always our goal to improve our service whenever possible!
