Chose this hotel for a nearby pickleball tournament because of it's close proximity to HCC/Raymond James stadium and the fact we could get a 2 room suite. Found the room was spacious, clean, well stocked, and to our delight, had a balcony. Unfortunately, the bed was only a queen but comfortable. Breakfast offerings were yogurt, bananas, packaged muffins, and packaged bagels. Nothing to write home about. A few breakfast sandwiches were put out on Thurs. and Fri. morning but were quickly paper-bagged by a few guests. Found the pool area quiet and relaxing. Although considered an airport hotel, we did not experience any loud airplane noise. Friendly staff.

Stayed 7/8 and 7/9 in a one bedroom suite, corner unit. Complex was very nice, everything was clean, parking was plentiful, and well lit, was never concerned about safety. Unit #302 was a corner unit, it was spotless, had a full size frig, cooktop and a microwave. large sectional, desk, table and flat screen tv, bedroom had a comfortable bed with queen size mattress, flat screen tv, and tub/shower combo. the only reason I did not give this hotel FIVE stars was the breakfast, . The buffet usually consists of scrabbled eggs, potatoes, bacon or sausage, hot oatmeal, and toaster for the bagels and bread. Not at this Marriott, the three chafing dishes which held: pre-packaged jimmy dean sausage/cheese biscuit's (which was barley warm) another had pre-packaged breakfast burrito's (which was warm) another had a pre packaged waffles. no toaster, no bread no bagels. I asked at the front desk, why the breakfast was not the usual Marriott fare. She said that, Marriott has changed since COVID, I said Oh, well I stayed at three different Marriott's just last month and ALL had the hot buffet. AND...I had family that stayed at the Springhill Suites (down the road) same dates, and they had the usual Marriott breakfast which consisted of: scrambled eggs, sausage links, hot oatmeal, bagels and bread and a toaster. Needless to say didn't bother going down for breakfast the 2nd morning. There is an OUTBACK within a short walking distance from the hotel. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up if they were counting on having a decent breakfast.

Have been staying longterm (6-8 weeks) at this property for over a decade and keep returning because of, yes, the great location but also because of the great staff and customer service. Have never not received anything but kindness when needing something. Most recently was there during the coronavirus scare, which unfortunately very much is still ongoing, and the new GM Holly and her staff effortlessly rose to the occasion, even as the hotel quickly emptied out after spring training. Will be back when the crisis passes and plan to be in future years.
P.S. This spring property installed new TVs that have everything you could ask for -- Netflix, HBOGO, Amazon, etc.

Well after reading the reviews my hopes where set high. Room was clean somewhat but noticed stains on sheets, and other things such as hairs in towels. Very basis amenities, toilet had a fault where the toilet kept filling with water as if you just flushed the toilet. Breakfast was awful. The very few proper plates clearly not been cleaned properly as food still evident on them and u went through a few. The rest of the plates cups bowls and cutlery all polystyrene hardly any tables for amount of people wanting breakfast, fruit which was melon and pineapple clearly gone past its best. Eggs bacon OK but not layed out very well, and but of a Warren to find anything (coffee hidden around a corner milk in another area) . The staff clearly trying their best. Just a shame really 👎

We were in town for a month and found this hotel to have the friendliest staff we've ever encountered. Our room was clean and quiet despite the hotel being full for most of our stay. Great location, too. 10/10 would stay again!

Kitchenette included: full size refrigerator, stovetop (4 burners) and oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot, toaster. All necessary dishes were included (we cooked every meal).

Let me give you just the facts and you decide…
“Due to COVID restrictions”:
1. The hotel does NOT offer daily housekeeping. It is offered every 5 days.
2. The hot breakfast is served grab and go. It consists of a warm English muffin with egg, cheese and meat. They also serve ONE fresh fruit - banana OR apple, bagel, cream cheese spread, pre-packaged boiled eggs, yogurt, water, coffee and juice.
Breakfast does NOT include any fruit spread, peanut butter, or cereal with milk. (We did not stay over the weekend so maybe those are offered then.)

We stayed for 3 nights and the hotel served us well. The air conditioning in our room was very cold. The location is very centrally located to the local attractions. The room has a full kitchen that includes a 2 burner stove top, full size refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, toaster, and dishwasher.
At the end of our stay, everyone was glad to be home and thankful for their own beds…

The entire staff at the Residence Inn Tampa North Shore are one the finest collective of hospitality professionals that this Titanium member encountered. But Nancy, one of the Front Desk Managers is a stand-out. I had a difficult time finding a 30+ stay in a suitable Marriott property in Tampa in January, so I stopped in unannounced and Nancy was the first Marriott representative I encountered at the property. She thanked me for my loyalty, walked me through the booking process and took the time to give me a brief tour of the common area/amenities. Nancy is outgoing, efficient, friendly and very personable. She has since provided me with making airport shuttle reservations, provided unique local restaurant recommendations, and has given me insights/recommendations on local recreation planning/day trips. Nancy is a credit to the hospitality industry and the Marriott Bonvoy brand. I am loyal to the Marriott Bonvoy brand, and the outstanding professionals, such as Nancy, who personify that brand.

My family and I stayed at this hotel with our 2 pets for two and a half months due to a flood in my home. While such a situation is unavoidably stressful, this hotel grew to feel very much like a second home. The staff were very friendly, greeted me at each encounter and made every effort to attend our needs. The location is excellent, with the airport, football stadium, shopping malls, highways and some small beaches nearby. There is a nice pool area complete with 2 large grills. It is a nice place to swim, sunbathe, relax with a drink and/or grill out some burgers. Not to mention how spoiled we were with the buffet breakfast. The ladies that run the kitchen are so friendly and attentive to the guests. There are even socials from Monday to Wednesday where beer, wine and a light dinner is served and gets can mingle. All in all while there is no place like home, this place was fantastic was a second one!

Arrived into room after red eye flight. Hoping to sleep, however room is right next to the pool...Way too much noise coming from people talking, etc. Add on the housekeeping knocking on your door...since there was no "Do Not Disturb" sign anywhere to be found. When I finally woke up, microwave didn't work...turned out wasn't plugged in, but once plugged in didn't heat up anything anyway. TV was also unplugged. Both soap and shampoo containers in the shower had nothing in them, no hot water, only tepid and then you really had to turn all the way to turn back off. If I hadn't been on company business and not paying for the room I would have demanded my money back and extra compensation. I will be alerting my company as to all of these "issues."

We were moving so stayed quite some time. The location was close to the airport, 2 malls, many restaurants (restaurants within walking distance). The staff were wonderful from Juan, Carlos, Lee, Nancy, housekeeping, maintenance, cannot say enough great things about them. The mattresses were new, however, the bathrooms could use a little pick me up. Free parking, breakfast, workout room and a pool with BBQs outside. I would recommend.
