This is a great location to stay before or after a cruise. Very close to the airport and has a shuttle service. The shuttle will also take you within a 2 mile radius of the hotel. Which was great because we needed to run to Walmart for a few forgotten things we left at home. Brandi at the bar make the best drinks and always has a smile on her face.

The interiors are well maintained and is astonishing.The customer service is extremely pleasing. But the pillows n blankets in our room were not clean as expected ( not sure if that's a mistake in just one room) everything else was good . We reached way ahead of time and the staff was so helpful and gave us the room in just 20-30 mints which was really helpful for me since I was traveling with my 4 yr old kid. Overall it's a good experience

I have been traveling to the Tampa area almost weekly for over a year. Without a doubt, this hotel is my favorite. The location is only minutes away from the airport, but without the typical airport noise or traffic. There are plenty of near-by businesses. I have been able to visit a different great restaurant in the area each visit without going to the same one twice. The International Plaza is almost within walking distance. Raymond James Stadium and Steinbrenner Field are very close. However, while these are important, the true reason this is my favorite is the staff. Every time I stay there it feels like home. Everyone of them is friendly and greets me with a smile (even behind the mask). They are helpful and go out of their way to make a guest’s stay pleasurable. They go the extra mile during these difficult times to make sure the property exceeds Covid requirements; including the pool and fitness center which are open. This attitude and effort extends from the front desk to housekeeping to the kitchen (they have a good, but trimmed down breakfast and dinner selection during the Covid) and anyone else I may have failed to mention. There are many hotels in the area; some are newer. However, you can’t go wrong here.

The check-in process was problematic and not positively resolved. The room's bathroom smelled like sewer backup. The tv did not work. The room's clock had not been reset for the time change and had no apparent way to adjust it on my own. The room service breakfast - a ham, egg, and cheese bagel with fruit - was $17 and did not come with any fruit and came on a cinnamon raisin bagel. The ac unit was incredibly noisy. The only positive I have to say about my stay was the barman in the lounge during the evening was very nice and helpful.

I've stayed in the Tampa Westshore area a number of times visiting a client, and the choices really aren't that good. I was hoping this was my break. The sleep was the best so far, which is what I'm paying for. Quiet A/C, a quiet bed, and little outside noise. (I stayed on a high floor facing the pool). So that is awesome! Now for the bad...Front Desk service was really bad during the evening rush; I called for a shuttle and they just put me on hold and hung me out to dry. Literally 10 minutes before I hung up. When I called back, guy was defensive and rude. ("I'm sorry" is the proper phrase here, son.) Oh, and they gave another guest a key to my room. They walked in on me while I was in my underwear. Unless you want this, I do NOT recommend using Hilton's highly hyped "use your phone as your room key" feature. So just grin and bear it and stay here, and avoid men at the front desk. The women are fine.

Great hotel, amazing staff (had no issues). Very nice layout of the room which had a king bed, sofa, office desk amazing glass walk in shower. The mirror in the shower was like one of those LED mirrors in which the light was completely around it. Nice touch!! Lots of towels and pillows which was a plus.

As new season ticket holders for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, this was my first visit to the Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore with my 10-year-old son and we will definitely be staying here on all subsequent visits. All staff members where kind and accommodating; however, Ryah Chancellor stood out for her outgoing and cheery personality. Every time I passed the front desk, she smiled and waved - that simple acknowledgment made all the difference. When I approached to ask for nearby dining suggestions, she had great local recommendations. Her demeanor was very calm and professional. I got the sense that she really enjoyed her work and it showed. She was extremely helpful and a great representative of the Hilton Brand.

Ryah, thanks for making our stay so pleasant. We will be back!!!

Overly excited to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary, my husband and I planned a weekend trip to Tampa. Because of a negative review I read about the condition of the rooms at this hotel, my excitement turned to an overwhelmingly disappointing anxiety. Because our trips are centered around lounging in our room, not around off-site activities, we need to WANT to be on the hotel’s property at all times. Afraid that our stay at this hotel would ruin our trip, I called the hotel to express my concerns about the negative review I had read and the comfort of our already reserved upcoming stay at this hotel. After speaking with Lauren, an amazing Hilton Tampa Airport staff member, without discrediting the feelings/reviews of previous visitors, she encouraged me to trust what I know and have experienced during stays at Hiltons.
She takes pride in what her Hilton’s location and it’s staff provides for visitors. Her emphasis was on it’s cleanliness and comfort. Lauren said we would be taken care of and not be disappointed. Our stay was welcoming which started in the lobby and continued to our room. Our room was Hilton Clean and prepared for weekend visitors. It was fresh and inviting. The room was supplied with enough linen and toiletries housekeeping was not needed. It was prepared to provide a comfortable lounging stay. Not only did we rest well. We enjoyed the treat of having a room with a balcony. Enjoying the Tampa night lights from our balcony view was beautiful. After a very long day, I decided to book a Hilton for the very fact that I have always received the best hospitality from them. Unfortunately, this property does not live up to those same Hilton Stanadards.

I arrived tired, and worn out, ready to relax. I was greeted by literally no none. There was no one to be found anywhere in the hotel, after waiting over ten minutes at the front desk, I decided to call off my cell phone. I let the phone ring, (I could hear it ringing behind the desk and in the offices, no answer). At this point, I was booking an uber to leave and finally, someone came out to check us in, I explained to her what happened and she couldn't;t care less, she had no sympathy or could even be bothered to apologize, she didn't want to make small take, and was very cold.

I checked into my room (which I request a single bed) to find 2 small beds and a handicap-accessible bathroom at this point I decided it wasn't even worth the effort. The next morning I got up to shower and noticed the ceiling was bubbling off and was covered in mold and mildew (gross).

The sliding glass door had cigarette buds scattered about it.

I left and noticed they had a screen in the lobby stating how in times like these how important hospitality is, I only wish they read their own marketing material on display and lived up to it.

My husband and I stayed here 3 nights for a conference. Our room had only one bath towel and 1 bar of soap. No one answered repeated calls to either housekeeping or the front desk. We shared the towel. The following day the housekeeper on our floor refused to give us towels because of Covid restrictions. I had to wait in line 15 minutes at the front desk just to get more towels. We never got any toiletries. The restaurant was closed the entire time and there was no in-room dining. The only option was a menu of less than 10 extremely overpriced items in the bar. The hotel seemed extremely understaffed. There were a few employees who were genuinely helpful but they simply couldn’t make up for all the inadequacies. The staff attempted to say that the issues we experienced were due to Covid, but we stayed in a Hilton Hampton Inn the following night after check out in Tampa and we had everything a hotel should- towels, toiletries, and food. What a concept! Sorry Tampa Hilton, but the Covid excuse doesn’t work when another Hilton doesn’t have problems providing for their guests.
