This place was a saving grace for us. After checking into and swiftly out of the hotel from hell and spending 3 hours looking at the filthy motels in and around Tampa we finally found this place at 3am. The price was reasonable, the staff kind and friendly and the room nice and clean. If in the area to visit Busch Gardens this is the place I would recommend. Ita about a 15 min drive from the park. The hotel has free breakfast and parking too. Thanks for a good stay!

Great location for leaving on a cruise from the port of Tampa. Although old very clean with the best staff. When safe didn’t lock they came up ,tried to fix it, when they couldn’t we were moved to another room immediately. Meal in am was good with staff helping people to find seating & replenishing food. Would stay again especially for the convenience & staff.

Stayed here for the Gasparilla Half Marathon and this was a great location for it! The hotel is a quick 15 minutes from the Tampa Convention Center/ Arena.

The hotel was clean, had ample parking and is right off of exit 3.

The breakfast was included and it had a nice selection including make your own waffles, toast, sausage and bagels. Was great for race weekend because I was able to make it back in time for breakfast.

Relaxed by the pool during the day and at night the pool has great outdoor lighting which created a pretty atmosphere.

Friendly staff at check out. Would stay again!

Thank you for your hospitality! Very clean room, quiet and comfortable. Your staff are very very friendly and pleasant from check in to check out. At breakfast we were greeted by Linda and Carmen. They each took the time to say hi to every guest, consoled a table of guests here for a funeral, wished us a great cruise and cleared our table with pride and pleasure.
In life of uncertainties you can be sure a moment of niceness to anyone can impact a stranger and make a difference in their day. Thank you staff, job well done 😃

Let's get one thing out of the way: This hotel is in a sketchy neighborhood and there were sketchy people in, and around the hotel. We didn't have any resulting issues, and for all I know they may be the nicest people on the planet....but I think i'd be remissed if I didn't mention it.

The hotel itself is quite clean inside. Nothing to complain about. Mechanically, everything is in pretty good shape said-for a wobbly desk chair and our room door not latching very tightly (it felt like it would be easy to breach if anyone wanted in) That aside, everything else in our room worked as it should and was a typical hotel room.

At check-in (which is unusually slow), we were told of an additional “hotel fee” that is apparently for breakfast and internet. It wasn't very much (a few $ a day I think), but is very odd.

Breakfast ends at 8am which is the earliest i've ever seen at a hotel. It is very limited, mainly microwavable Jimmy-Deans. I'm not sure if this is because of Covid or not. Also, you have to present a coupon which is really bizarre. Maybe this is to deter people coming in off the street and eating for free??

They seem to have trust issues with their guest. For an example, in order to get new towels for our room, we had to return our old ones to the front desk and exchange them.

In summation, aside from the area and some of the vibes we were getting from some of the people, it's a good value and was a surprisingly decent room.

Our stay was made perfect thanks to the amazing staff who went above and beyond to look after us. Luis and Andy, you guys are awesome! They always gave warm hello’s in passing, and checked in on how we were doing throughout our stay. Linda at breakfast was also great, she kept things running smoothly with grace and humour!
The hotel looks a bit run down from the outside, but everything exceeded expectations. The pool was clean and a comfortable temperature. The loungers were comfy and there were clean beach towels in bins to use each morning.
The continental breakfast that was included was great—hot waffles, eggs, and sausages. There was toast, bagels, fruit, cereal etc. The coffee was solid, and there were several different cold juices to pick from.
The value was definitely worth the stay, but the customer service was among the best we’ve encountered!! There are some fantastic employees working here.

My advice is find another location unless you want to be charged even if you do not stay both nights.

I had booked a room for 2 nights then about 2 hours later my company changed my schedule so I would only be staying 1 night. I went to the front desk and explained the situation but the front desk person was clearly not well trained and not very friendly.

Then I called Choice and they said it would be handled.

After I saw the receipt on the app, I saw it was not handled and I was in fact charged for 2 nights when I only stayed 1 night.

After calling Choice and spending over 40 minutes on the phone, nothing changed.

Also, be prepared to give this property $100 deposit as well.

Never is a long time, but I will never stay at this location again.

Terrible customer service!

This place is HORRIBLE! Upon entering I handed Ms. personality my confirmation and she just looked at me and said license and credit card. I said here is my confirmation and was totally ignored. Then I was asked if I would like to pay the hotel fee cash or credit. I asked, what is the hotel fee!? And she and answered a fee the hotel charges for its services. I said why is this and was told because I booked through a third party vendor. I said I booked through Choice Hotels Website and got the response, oh well.
Later that evening my wife called the front desk and asked for extra pillows and was told they did not have any. (We had 4 18” x 18” thin pillows in the room) the pillows were so small you needed three or four just to put under your head. I called the front desk and asked about the hot water (which was luke warm at best) and was told it was that way because they didn’t want anyone to get burned.
Breakfast was pretty poor, however we didn’t expect much anyway and ate elsewhere.
Upon returning around 4pm from a long day at a trade show I had already planned a cold shower but to my amazement the room was not cleaned yet! I asked the maid in the hall and she said she was not cleaning that room. I walked up to the front desk and was told the maid is correct. I was told that if I would like maid service I need to request it in advance (but wait a minute I paid the hotel fee!). Fortunately they had a few clean towels they gave me and we returned to our unmade room.
I left this hotel wondering how a business could be so un-caring towards its guest.
If you plan on visiting the Tampa are I would advise staying elsewhere.
Also note it’s not in the best part of town. There were actually a bunch of homeless living next to a dumpster (not the hotels) as you exit the property. Also if you do stay here make sure to get a room apposite the highway.

I stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the area. The room was clean and comfortable. You had to have a voucher to partake of the morning breakfast which had a good selection of morning favorites. There was a large group staying on my floor which at times got loud during the night. Security kept a lid on the noise. The pool area was large with plenty of room. This is a non-smoking hotel. Neighborhood is kind of lousy but guests are isolated from it. If your room ends in 30, you have a long walk to your room
