We just decided to hop in the car late in the week and wanted to just relax. This was perfect. It is an older Florida property and the pictures are true to what it is. The manager was very accommodating and had everything ready for check in upon arrival. It was exactly as presented and met our expectations based on... More

A beautiful view from our room #19.. Nice people, easy to check in and out.. Short stroll threw the dunes to a pristine beach.. Best sunsets... You can make friends or just do your own thing... Most people have been vacationing here for years... I will be one of those returning customers...

Coming to Venice since 1971. First stay at Beachcombers. Reserved the 3 bedroom 2 bath condo. VERY spacious. Very clean. Very small TVS in bedrooms but not here for television. Small concern mentioned to manager and it was addressed immediately- above and beyond. Beach was ok. There was no down side to staying here. Maureen very pleasant, helpful from start... More

This past week was our 2nd stay at the beachcomber. This year we stayed in unit 16 which is a one bedroom, 1 bath condo on the 2nd floor. We moved upstairs this year for the better view of the gulf. Every unit has beach views. I can't say enough about how clean and well maintained the staff keeps everything,... More

While visting Venice, we have stayed at the Beachcomber 8 or 9 times. Our favorite room is #1 which is a first floor 3 bedroom which has a covered wrap around porch looking out over the Gulf. All the units are privately owned so the furnishings etc... will be different in each. The Beachcomber has two stories which look out... More

This was my family's destination over the 4th of July week for the last 37 years. With 3 generation from 3 different families totaling 30+ people who have been attending each year. We have different levels of income attending so this has been a decent choice due to the beach access and inexpensive rates. However, we have put up with... More

I came here with my wife and mother in law for a week. It was really something else. The view is amazing, right over the pool you see the gulf. The beach access was the best, we went into the ocean and swam and then sat by the pool. I had a bit of a mishap in the shower, a... More

This is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. You won't be disappointed with this spot on the beach. Great pool, too. You'll want to return over and over. Wifi, W/D, and lovely view of the water.

Went to sleep to the sound of waves. Greeted our gopher tortoise each morning on the dune. Collected shells and sharks teeth. Felt very at home for our 1 week stay over the new year. Exceptional cleanliness. Make your own bed, carry out your own trash, do your own laundry with the inclusive facilities available. Tekla and Robert available and... More

My wife & stay at the Beachcomber when we visit her parents in Venice. The price we pay for the room is well worth my sanity. :) We've stayed here many times and will continue to do so as long as there are units available. I believe there are only 19 units so they can fill up fast, especially on... More

“Single-digit rooms are on the first floor and double-digit rooms are on the second floor. Second floor rooms have a better view of the water. Unit #7 is great but it has no view. Unit #19 has a great view but the beds are pretty bad.”
