Clean, charming and quiet at night. Across the street from beach. Got room 21 with a kitchen. We spent 5 days here visiting family for thanksgiving. Beach, fishing and seeing the sites. This was the perfect place for being touristy or lazy days by the pool and grilling steaks in the courtyard. Old Florida charming motel that is clean, updated...

We have stayed here several times before, its a great little spot in perfect location for walking the beach, shopping and lots of dining options. This is a no frills motel but has everything we need, quiet & clean rooms, micro, fridge. Mary Jane is so friendly and helpful I'm sure we will be back again.

Pool is just 20 steps or so from the room. Though not a new motel, everything is in good repair, decorated nicely and quite clean. The beach, restaurants, coffee, sandwich, ice cream shops and boutiques are all within a short walk. Riverside Park is 5 blocks west and it is a great place for bike riding.

Spur of the moment trip up the coast for my birthday w/e. I had not been to Vero Beach since 1984. We tried to get a room at the Driftwood but all booked and the person we spoke to recommend the Islander which was right across the street. I looked at the pictures and reviews here on trip advisor but...

My family has stayed here several times while visiting my parents and love the tropical decor in the room. I saw a review that was titled run away, and to take the good reviews with a grain of salt. This is not an upscale, pricey inn. I think that's what that traveler was expecting and because it wasn't they chose...

We just returned from a family wedding in Vero Beach, Fl...we stayed at the Islander Inn at the suggestion of a family member who has stayed there before...our family literally took over this small hotel and we had a wonderful time...the rooms were spotless and conveniently located around a small grassy area with tables and chairs for us to gather...

We just returned from a 3 day stay at this charming family owned boutique type Florida hotel. We had a family wedding with everyone arriving from various states and it was very affordable, clean and roomy. We had almost filled the entire hotel ( I think 26 rooms total) . Mary Jane and Doug are very nice and so accommodating....

I would for sure stay at The Islander again! Location, location, location. Literally across the street from the beach. Highly clean rooms and accommodating staff (check out is 11am but we were allowed 2pm). My husband and I stayed here for a wedding with extended family that was held at the Vero Beach Hotel. The Islander is incredibly more affordable....
