Mildew smell in 2 rooms I stayed in, Made me feel sick. Injured arm trying to get door to room open, shouldn't be hat hard to get your hotel door open. Staff was helpful in switching me to another room, but both had mildewy smell that was overwhelming.
Otherwise place was OK, Don

More rustic than I thought it would be. No elevator in the building we were in. Resort is in a great area but needs to be updated. Restaurant was ok. When I go on vacation to a "resort"I want a resort experience.

Thank you for your review of the Driftwood Resort. We have an elevator in our 4 story buildings but the remainder of the 2 story buildings do not have them. The original buildings are on the National Register of Historic Places, sorry you found them too rustic. Thank you again for your review. Jeanne Radlet, GM

We had a very wonderful time here and would like to rate it 3.5 but there is no option. It didn't quite make it to a 4 for a few reasons. What we loved was the character of the place - it fully lives up to its history and thanks for keeping it alive. Other than that it was a sup

The room was nice, but smelled , there were insects crawling all over even a roach. The Stall was very accommodating and did there very best to make sure we were comfortable. Very good entertainment and food was in walking distance. With all I have said we did not stay the whole

Thank you for your review. I am sorry you experienced insects in your room. This is NOT normal at all as we have professional pest control service every month and more when needed. I don't know what kind of insects you are referring to, I wish you had been more specific. I hope that you will give us a chance at some point in the future so that you can see this is not normal. What is the cancellation policy for booking a room? How far in advance do you have to call and would you get charged a fee? Do they still charge if you reschedule?
24 hours in advance off season and 48 in season for cancellation. We take reservations right up to arrival date depending on availability. There is no cancellation fee if you cancel before the deadline. We do not charge to reschedule. Hope that helps.

Hi we are just back from a stay with yourselves. We did an exchange through interval and stayed in unit 205a. We are coming back next year as we loved it that much. This time it would be a 1 bedroom unit. I was hoping you could tell me where these units are and if they have a sea or pool view and a full kitchen. Many thanks Veronica
The one bedroom oceanfront units with full kitchen are 3010, 3011, 3030, 3031.....sometimes very difficult to get these though as most owners do you use them....good luck!!
