I spend a few days here each year, and this year we are going in March. My family has been staying at the Driftwood since the 1960's, and I wouldn't even bother trying to find a different hotel. We always get a room or two in the old section, facing the ocean. The nights, with the slider doors open, are...

Have been visiting for years. Wouldn't give it up for anything! Relaxing yet fun atmosphere. You can find us Hanging out at Waldo's, strolling along the beach then to Craven's for a breakfast of coffee and muffin, also sunning and reading poolside or on the beach. We also partake of the many nice golf options nearby or rent a bike...

Thank you so much for all the kind words. We are always happy to see the owners of the timeshare units come back year after year. We strive to keep the atmosphere the way Waldo Sexton wanted it over 75 years ago when he built the original building which you stay in. Thanks again for the review, we look forward...

This is our second year staying at Driftwood. The resort has a great deal of charm and is a heritage property. Many rooms have been renovated. I recommend the one bedroom, studios are a bit small for my liking. The one bedrooms are spacious...large living room, full kitchen, Large bedroom, some have walk in closet. DVD's Flat screen TV. Wi-fi...

We were hoping for a relaxing vacation and didn't expect anything fancy but this place is the pits. Reviews seemed ok even some called it quaint which it may have been in 1940. And that is the last year they cleaned the room. We arrived after dark and there were no lights in the room. There is 7" drop in...

We are certainly sorry you didn't like your room at the Driftwood. You were in one of the two buildings that are on the National Registry of Historic Places. We have recently been awarded the Silver Crown designation with RCI which is not reflective of what you state you found in your room. I'm sorry if it was too close...

Well what a place! We arrived Sat. afternoon in Nov. to find a live band ( excellent) playing by the restaurant / bar. The food is bar food but good and not too expensive. We stayed in a 2 bedroomed duplex with quite a roomy living area.First off it is not posh by any means but it is clean, friendly...

We inherited a timeshare here from my mother-in-law a few years back. This is our yearly family vacation, and we just love the location and the facilities. We have a unit that has an ocean-view, and we love to open the door to the balcony and listen to the waves crash into the shore. They are currently in the process...

This is simply the best place to stay in Vero Beach! Many people own weeks at this Timeshare, and for many years we rented Beautiful Units before buying. Wonderful Staff and the same people every year make this place #1. If you are Yuppies and want Glitz and Glamor with no Personal touch go somewhere else! You will be missing...

We loved this place. We stayed in the historic building and our patio was right next to the bandstand. Most nights that the band played, they were inside, but one night, they did play until 10. Our unit -- kitchen, living room, bedroom, bath (with claw foot tub and separate shower) was very clean. We didn't have a stove --...

We went for a week to the Driftwood Resort as it was fairly close to our home and we needed to be closeby. We read the reviews which were mixed but we loved it there. It is an historic place and has the original building as well as newer ones. It was fun exploring the older buildings. We had 2...

The buildings are from a bygone time, don't expect a lot of amenities. I had no problem getting Wi-fi from our room. Mall, Walmart and other restaurants are in town, 10 min away. Most of the nearby restaurants and shops are expensive but the one on the property is moderately priced for lunch and dinner and the food is good.....
