I have stayed here several times over the last couple of years and the staff here are always very helpful. Decent sized comfortable rooms and a strong wi-fi signal help when away with work. Excellent food in the restaurant but you will need to book at busy times

I stayed here as a bicyclist doing a tour of the Dutch coast. The location is very nice. It's right on the dike and very quiet except for the sound of wind and sheep. Breakfast is very well done with the traditions Dutch fares. If you want a quiet and very accommodating B&B experience, here is the place.

The hotel is situated on the quiet side of the island of Texel, just a few meters away from the Wadden Sea. It's very peacefull, the rooms are nice and clean, and the food is really good. The sunrises are spectacular.

We stayed 1 night in a 6 person bungalow in the bungalow park attached to the hotel. The bungalows have 3 bedrooms, each with 2 twin beds that are either pushed together to make a king size bed or separate. We had 1 bedroom downstairs & 2 upstairs. There is also a bathroom with shower & washer/dryer as well as...

Now that the hotel has changed hands and the restaurant is open again, this hotel is real find if you are interested in peace and quiet. The menu is simple: you get what is on the daily menu, but what you get is cooked superbly. The breakfast that is included is continental style but fantastic. Boiled eggs, tasty bread and...

The small island of Texel, the Netherlands, has two sides: the touristic area at the North Sea beach with nice touristic villages (but don't mind the number of people) and the quiet area for bird lovers at the South-East side at the 'Waddenzee'. Hotel Prins Hendrik is situated at the quiet area. Enjoy the sound of silence! It is situated...

We got a family room at the last moment (no discount though). Very friendly on the phone. Very friendly staff in reception, bar and restaurant. Clean and well maintained rooms if a little noisy. However, as everybody is there to rest, all was quiet at 23h. A very agreeable experience all in all

A good hotel in a great location. Rooms decent, food excellent and staff helpful. We managed to book rooms at a good price which made the price of food and other essentials - beer - a bit of a shock to the nervous system. Great for birdwatchers, in February, but breakfast at 08.30 would not be early enough in Spring.

This hotel is perfectly located for a trip with birdwatchers. The location is next to a reconditioned wetland. The food is good, the rooms are big enough. Breakfast could be a bit earlier, if one does only want to start after breakfast. In summer you could do a few hours before toast and coffee.

we booked this hotel for a last minute escape with my husband, 2 sisters and their partners and 7 year old niece. For my niece an extra bed was placed in a large room with her parents. We also had to double rooms, one equipped for wheel chair excess. We arrived early (1 PM) and 2 of the rooms were...
