Clean room, refrigerator and microwave and a powerful air conditioner - what more can you ask for. Owner was very helpful letting me use a bucket to rinse an underwater housing. Parking very close to rooms.

We paid 50$ more or less a night for 5 days 4 nights. The room was very clean and very spacious. The bathroom was old but kept clean with a new toilet. The KING size bed was very comfy with 6 pillows! An oversized mini fridge and microwave. The staff was very friendly and checked on us daily. Brought us towels in the morning. The others were very friendly. It's in an ok area of town, not the best but ok. If you're expecting a 4 star hotel, don't come. If you're an everyday middle class person just needing a nice bed to sleep in, this is the place for you!

The building looks nice, but don't expect it to be something luxurious. It has an older type feel and a decoration that's not so modern. Rooms were pretty clean and beds were not too hard to sleep on (I can only sleep on softer mattresses). The overall size of the room was a bit small, but it was only me staying there; so it wasn't a big deal.

Overall, the place was acceptable for the price I paid. It was close to the airport, it was easy to find, and my one-night stay was pretty decent. If you are on a budget and looking to land somewhere to get some rest before heading out, this place is excellent.

We were in this room a whole 10 minutes until we decided to leave and get a refund. The rooms they show are nothing like the room we got put into. We weren't expecting anything over the top for the price, but for the 10 minutes that we were there, we felt like dirty.

There were a couple cockroaches that scattered when opened the bathroom door. The Shower was completely disgusting. It was covered in shower grime. The fan in the bathroom had a dryer sheet from it, I'm assuming to mask the smell of the room.

The room was super tiny. The smoke detector still had plastic around it. The chair that was in the room was very rickety. The mini Fridge was disgusting too.

Overall, Would never recommend this place to my own worst enemy.

The Only good thing was she refunded our money very quickly.

Please save your money and find a different hotel. The guy at the front desk was so RUDE! Yelling at me in his accent NO SMOKING, do you Smoke? I answered yes, and he yells louder NO SMOKING in room. I said Ok, I usually smoke outside. My daughter and I were driving for hours and it was 9 pm and we were just tired. He was kind enough to give us 1 (notice I said 1) bottle of water as my daughter and me looked at each other like....is there only 1 of us? The room was not worth the $90 I paid for just a place to sleep for the night. The bathroom was from the 60's, cramped. In the morning, I had to run to get coffee. No coffeemaker in a hotel room that you pay $90?? What The Hell is that? Beware of housekeeping in the morning, they sit around outside the rooms waiting for you to leave. An older couple were cleaning rooms and I was outside smoking, the older guy with his accent asked if I was leaving. I said no not yet, it's only 9 AM and check out is at 11 AM. So he and the lady sat outside and watched my daughter and I every move. Talk about making us feel uncomfortable!! I would not even recommend this place to a dog. Horrible horrible!!

The Economy Inn in West Palm Beach was fantastic. This appears to be a family owned and operated location. Great price, friendly check-in, clean room, comfortable bed, free parking, free wifi. I could not be happier. This is the way a hotel visit is supposed to work.

If all you need is a place to lay your weary head, this is a great place. If you are looking for turn down service & a mint on your pillow, not so much. The decor is dated, but very clean. Services such as new towels & sheets are upon request. There is much flat space for luggage, personal effects & work area. There is a fridge, microwave, flat screen TV with satellite, and free WiFi. Most importantly, there are multiple outlet strips for electronic devices! A family can easily recharge here. I don't require much, and this place had all I need, a comfortable bed & multiple outlets! Oh, by the way, lifesaver mints were provided bedside.

First thing you need to know is that this property was probably built in the 1960s. It's old, but many of the furnishing have been updated in this century. ;-) The area is very hard to figure out. Some nice restaurants, and then some shady places around the corner. And it didn't help when my Lyft driver told me not to walk in the area at night, as we pulled into the parking lot of the Economy Inn at around 6pm. Apparently West Palm Beach has some shady areas near the Interstate highway (per my driver).

Upon arriving, I noticed the former pool had been filled in and nicely landscaped. Honestly, the best pool to landscaping gig I've seen at a motel like this.
I had to ring a doorbell for the Operator/Owner to come let me in. Not the first time to experience this with the older, "ma and pa" type of establishments. I believe the owners live onsite and do most of the work managing the property. A few of the previous reviews referenced the staff being rude. I get it. The owners didn't go out of their way to offer southern hospitality. But my guess is that it's a cultural thing. For a business owner in their 60's-70's, from another country, changing personalities is probably not going to happen. However, in the Southeast US, guests do expect more hospitality and clear English speaking staff than what the Economy Inn provides. Just know what to expect. Oh, and bring your own hair dryer.

The room and bathroom seemed to be clean overall. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Plenty of electrical and charging outlets, Direct TV, microwave, and working fridge. The AC fan was a quite stale when I turned it on, so I didn't use it for most of the night. The shower is all old tile that probably needs replacing due to grout stains in the corners. Vanity and toilet were fairly new, as were the laminate hardwood floors. FYI, These rooms are really small and there is no desk for working.

Just remember, it's called ECONOMY Inn for a reason. They run a very lean, non-flashy, no big chain motel, but overall clean. I would say this place is good for a night when you need to get to the airport quickly for an early morning flight, or (apparently) for an inexpensive, wild night of couple passion (per the room next door -- thin walls, beware). For me, I had an early flight the next day ;-) so it worked fine. Because of the area, though, I would not recommend this motel for a female traveling alone.

As I recall, about a 10-15 min drive. Very doable without going on a freeway.
