This place looks really janky when you pull in, so I questioned if I had actually read the reviews correctly. We asked to see the room before we paid, the lady at the desk was nice about it. The room was actually very clean. The bed spreads was pretty, the mattress was comfortable, the A/C was cold, the bathroom was clean. It was pretty loud, both traffic and the neighbors. I have stayed in better, but I have certainly stayed in worse. In this case you legitimately get what you paid for, no more, no less.

It is a very retro on a busy street with a restaurant next door that we could hear through the adjoining window. Convenient parking next to our door. At first glance the room looked clean. We found food in the fridge and dirty cotton ball on the floor. It was close to several food options. The door didn't have have a security chain or bolt.

I only came here because the freaking hotel we did have reservations for so totally forgot about us. I was very upset and had to pee really bad, so I opened my trip advisor app and found this place. If it wasn't for trip advisor and the cheap price, I would have never knew this place existed, nor would I ever have found it. The place is ok, but kind old to the point THERE IS NO HOT WATER so this is the perfect place to take a jail house shower!! I don't mean to sound rude or racist but the Indian family that runs this place isn't that nice and needs some courses and degrees in customer service from the Huizenga School of Business at Nova Southeastern University. Other than that it was so-so. #GoSharks!

I had a confirmed reservation through Expedia to stay for my National Guard weekend as I have done here in the past several times. I called the office at 6:00 PM as a courtesy to let them know I'd be there at 7:30 since I was driving from Orlando. The guy on the phone told me the CC was denied by Expedia (Which was a lie after verifying with Expedia). He told me my room was cancelled because they can't stay around until 1:00 or 2:00 AM waiting for people to check in. Then he hung up on me. I called back and challenged him on hanging up on me and he said he had other customers. Completely rude and unprofessional. I will be filing a complaint with the state as well since they left me stranded and I had to find another place to stay that evening. Highly recommend everyone avoids this place and Expedia since they didn't seem eager to take action against the motel for cancelling their customer. I had a reservation booked there for April too that I cancelled. They don't need to be in business treating customers in this manner.

We stayed there for a night and paid 72$ which we thought was a great deal. First of all, the operators are extremely rude! It's our first hotel stay, and we didn't know the certain times of checking out and checking in, we went there at 2 am, thinking we can stay there all day next day. And then next morning at 11 AM the owners says we need to checkout. He didn't say a word about checking out at 11 AM, he thinks he can use people like us. The owner is cheap, the building was old and dirty you can barely call it a hotel. You can find better places for 72$ a night, doesn't worth the money!!!

I booked this hotel through a scam that Priceline was offering through their Express Deal. The deal offers you a supposed great rate for a hotel in a certain area but doesn't tell you the hotel name until the deal is done but guarantees that it will meet certain standards. There is no way to look up the hotel before hand. You are basically buying your room site unseen. The hotel they gave me was the Park View Motor Hotel in West Palm Beach. The operators of the hotel when I arrived were the worst I have ever experienced. The rooms were filthy and I felt were way below a 1 star hotel. As I was talking to the operator of the hotel I saw cockroaches exiting as cleaners were cleaning. They facilities as a whole I felt were extremely unsafe and had zero confidence in staying in such a run down environment. Because it was my word against theirs Priceline would not back me up and I lost $441.00. I hope Karma more than gives these people what they deserve. Shame on you Priceline and Shame on you Park View Motor. My best recommendation for the place would be to NEVER EVER EVER STAY HERE!

A friend and I stayed for one night and what we thought it was going to be a nice deal, turned out to be a very unpleasant surprise two days later.
On my credit card there was a surprising extra charge, and when I called the lodge, without explaining which room we were in, someone told me that it was because my friend and I took the pillowcases...and then he hung up. Seriously?! Why we would like to steal two shabby pillowcases?! If I needed one, I would have bought a new one for less money that what they have charged us!!
Please, DO NOT stay here! They treat you as a thief and they are extremely rude!

We requested non smoking and got a non smoking room but when we entered it smelled so nasty like smoke we had to leave the door open over an hr to let the odor out. The bathtub was grose, dirty like it hadn't been cleaned in months, the alarm was 20 min behind which we didn't realize until we woke up. The toilet kept making a decompressing sound which didn't allow me to sleep and to top it all off, it had roaches as well In the middle of the night. Never staying there...

Room looked clean upon entering but was extremely outdated and gave the feel of decades of travelers, and visitors of the impurest kind. The walls between the rooms are extremely thin which made it difficult to sleep, especially since I stayed right next to a woman who had gentleman callers throughout the night. Judging by the stains on the box spring, I'd say the beds were decades old as well and most likely infested with bed bugs. From the exterior, it appears well kept, which made it difficult to judge what the rooms' interior would be like. When you are in a pinch, and need a last minute place to stay, you tend to get what you pay for.

I travel to West Palm Beach to play in an athletic event and basically want a good nights sleep. Have tried all of the expensive hotels and often haven been woken up at night by yelling or noise in the halls or noisy air conditioning. This was my third visit to the Park View. It is the essence of an old Florida road side motel. The good news - the room is clean and the air conditioning unit is my room #25 was new and very quiet. The motel has front room facing the Dixie highway and second tier which is behind and has no highway noise. The house keeper made up my room daily and even folded my clothing left on the bed! My room was recently repainted and had new carpet. For some reason the owner hasn't cut a 1/4" off the bottom of the door and you have to push hard to enter. For some reason the manager locks the door to the lobby and you have to register from a rear window off the parking lot with a pass thru slot for your credit card - just like a cheap motel in Mexico! Not sure if a single female traveler would be comfortable in the check in process. Nearby are are three great and inexpensive restaurants - Howley's, Dixie DInder and Flaigan's on Southern Blvd.
At Flaigan's I got their special - dinner rolls, a large ceasar salad, 1/2 order of ribs, a draft beer - $16.95 WOW ! The only negative is the foam pillows which are hard as a rock. Next time I visit I will buy an inexpensive pillow at Kmart. Otherwise - good choice for the money ! I will be returning next winter.
