Had the best time sunbathing and lounging at the pool while drinking at the bar. All the staff were very courteous and made us feel welcomed. The room had everything we needed from soaps and shampoo to bath robes and sandals and the location cannot be better.

I enjoyed the views on the rooftop the food was great! The staff in hotel were very accomodating and kind. The valet attendant Angel was very professional and efficient getting my vehicle for me defintely reccomend going to this hotel you wont regret it!

The Canopy west palm is our only go-to place to stay. It’s just so versatile due to its wide variety of features and accommodations. I stay here for business trips, getaways, I even hosted a breakfast at Banter (The wonderful restaurant downstairs.) On a gorgeous day, we head to the rooftop pool, and if it rains, there’s a roof over the bar… problem solved! To top it all off, this place is in the heart of west palm beach. Clematis is only a trolly ride away (which the Canopy provides as a complementary service). Steve and Dakota helped me setup special room requests to make my stay feel very special.

The hotel automatically assesses 20% gratuities for all food and beverages. The servers have no reason to provide good service and most do not. This was observed over three days; two occasions at Treehouse and one at the Pool; all with different wait staff.
Stained towels (makeup or blood) were folded for guest use in our room; we waited two hours for towels to be brought up to the pool. Two of the three stalls in the pool ladies room lacked toilet paper at 10:30am. Housekeeping may or may not clean your room. Towels, toilet paper and Body wash ( they lock the bottles to the shower) all needed to be requested after housekeeping was there earlier in the day.
The service elevator was out our entire six day stay so we often shared the guest elevators with conference furniture, bins of dirty laundry, or tacos and garlic fries being shipped to the rooftop restaurant if we were able to get on at all.

The plus would be the elevators require a key to access room floors so that felt safe but anyone can get to the rooftop and the pool.

Be prepared to ask for what you want when you complain because management will try to make it right.

My argument is for the cost of rooms, it should have been right to begin with. If I wanted a lower budget experience, I would have booked one.

We arrived at the Canopy after 5 p.m., but one of our booked rooms was still not ready for check-in. A staff member at the reception kindly checked the room in person and reassured us that everything was in order.

However, upon entering the room, we were met with a heavy, unpleasant odour, and the cleanliness of the toilets was not up to standard. After leaving the hotel for dinner, we requested the front desk to notify housekeeping about the need for service in our room. Unfortunately, upon our return, there had been no changes made.

Feeling quite uncomfortable, we went to bed only to realize there was no blanket on the bed—just a sheet. As the night was chilly, we ended up using the bathroom robes in place of blankets. The next day, we discovered that our daughters’ room had blankets, which added to our disappointment.

While the hotel boasts a modern and beautiful design, its maintenance and cleaning standards fall short of expectations. Given our experience, I don’t believe I will choose the Canopy for my next visit to the area.

Friendly, but raucous and poorly run. More a student hostel than a serious hotel: music blaring in the lobby, poor room service - dirty - and only available after a special request. Room thermostat broken and aircon required a replacement filter - not supplied after request. To continue, printer without ink and one of the two available computers broken, valet only parking at $44 per day. They can do much better, and so can you.

We recently spent four nights after three great nights at the Hilton Curio Collection Ray in Delray Beach. We chose the Canopy because of the ideal location near the bridge to Palm Beach. Also great location for shopping and running and biking. BUT BEWARE! This is a second class two to three star with a one star attitude. No heated pool despite the fact that every other south Florida hotel has one during the winter months. The hotel claims one could not be installed in this totally modern and less than 3 year old building with an adjacent jacuzzi that could roast a chicken.

Also, no evening turndown on request and abandoned food and glasses in the hall can stand around for hours. A lot of the staffers seem to be newbies to the hospitality biz as well as to the area. No empathy for guests like myself who cannot swim in an ice cold pool. No attempt to help me swim at their sister property nearby. Showers in bathrooms can't hold a constant temperature, and even the people behind the desk know little about how to get around. We didn't find out til our final day about the free shuttle the hotel has to nearby shopping and dining areas.

At prices that rival top flight city hotels in major markets, and a decided lack of interest in observing Hilton Gold and Amex Platinum status for guests, plus that icy titanic like pool, I would say find another alternative . We would never stay here again. And now there is a loud band booming away too!

If I could give my experience at this hotel zero stars I would. Not for the location or cleanliness of rooms, but the total lack of customer service provided by this hotel while celebrating my special occasion. My maid of honor and I were there June 20th to spend one night in town to be close to a venue for my pre-wedding event. We arrived at the hotel around 3:30pm and understood check in wasn’t until 4pm so waited by grabbing a meal and drink at the upstairs pool bar while front desk held our bags. (I do not drink and was disappointed by the bar’s lack of non alcoholic options.) We returned to the front desk at 4:15pm after we didn’t receive any update via text as promised about our room. Front desk staff were joking around with each other unprofessionally and not acknowledging us as we stood there waiting until 4:30pm while they checked the computer on why our room wasn’t ready. They could not give us a reason or any sort of apology on the matter and told us they would have to wait for a call from someone in another 15 minutes to know if it would even be ready. We were sent to a locker room for me to shower/dress for one of the most important days of my life until 5:30pm rolls around and we still received NO UPDATE on our room. My maid of honor goes down to desk once more before we have to leave for venue and staff says in surprise, “oh yes it’s ready now.” We have just enough time to drop off bags and groceries (now gone bad) before having to leave to get to scheduled event. We return to room after event and the light fixture in bedroom does not work. The next morning, a staff member opens door walking straight into our room without knocking or announcing themselves at 8am and then shuts the door after we say “there’s someone in here” as my friend is about to step into shower. We didn’t even want to use the amenities such as the pool the next morning because I honestly could not wait to leave this awful establishment. No courtesy or willingness to show customer care, service, or resolve regarding our inconvenience during stay and the horrible experience we had. I feel traumatized that we booked this hotel we never got to enjoy and which caused so much added stress during such an important event. I’ve had better experiences at motels. The mockery and lack of communication of staff at front desk was off putting and I would never recommend this place to anyone for the anxiety, unsafe conditions and feelings they gave us as two traveling adult women. We were treated with complete disregard as paying guests when this trip was booked months in advance.

The absolute best place to stay. Santiago Is the man! Going on two years and still enjoying every visit. Even weeks where I'm late booking and they are full, they come through by keeping me up to date on any cancellations. No where else would I rather stay. They may not have all the glitz that's in West Palm Beach, but it's the people who keep me coming back!

All the essentials of this hotel are spot on. Staff were all very courteous and friendly, rooftop bartender Patience especially so. No issues whatsoever with room cleanliness, security, or amenities not working. The bed was spectacular and spotless. A ten minute walk through a seemingly safe area will get you to the Brightline Station or a nearby Publix. The overall vibe of the hotel seems open air Caribbean and tropical. Yes I know, in West Palm. What are the odds? I may have missed it but I did not notice a gift shop. I may stand corrected if there is one. Don't miss the rooftop pool/bar/restaurant with outstanding views, especially at sunset. My Sunday night stay did not feature the DJ that other reviewers have mentioned. The Canopy gets high marks for the waterfall shower, the toilet separated from the main bathroom by a wall, huge windows, and a huge barn-style sliding door to separate the sleeping area from the entry and bathroom. Filtered water in addition to the ice machines is a huge plus as well.

Hello Cheryl! We do have a Canopy Shuttle but unfortunately, the beach is in an area past the range of the shuttle. We can set up transportation for you at the Front Desk at any time. It's about a 3-5 Minute ride to Palm Beach If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to reach out!
