Loved the location and the friendly staff. Walking distance to everything. Breakfast was great, the rooms are quaint, quilted bedspreads, clean and comfortable! Beds are small though! Chickens on roof, nice outdoor sitting area for smokers. There are restaurants in the building, very good Thai food, as I mentioned walking distance to all kinds of restaurants, gift shops, etc.

The hotel is a blast from the past from the elevator to the details in appointments. The staff is engaging and the service is excellent. Breakfast is relaxing with a full assortment of selections. Plant Street in Winter Garden has a great deal to offer from the Garden Theater to restaurants and low key night life. Weekends are full of...

What a wonderful place. Has old stove, clock, sink, phone, elevator , beds from the early 1900;s.. Reminds me of staying with your grandmother. The place is owed by three younger couples and they eat breakfast with you and interact like family. Very friendly Made to order breakfast: eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, pancakes. We got in late and I said...

Very pleasant visit, friendly staff, clean rooms, reasonable rates, and comfortable beds. Nothing could have been improved upon, everything was perfect! Staying at the Edgewater takes you back in time, and offers the perfect weekend escape. It’s located in the historical area of town, surrounded by brick streets, ice creams shops, restaurants, and boutiques. It’s the perfect get-a-way.

We had a quick visit at the end of the Labor Day weekend for a family event. We had a longer stay in June and both were wonderful. This such a wonderful change from chain hotels. The entire hotel oozes character and each room has a different feel. Breakfast--which is included--is cooked to order and is excellent. We had to...
