If you're looking for a secluded quiet location near Disney, this hotel is a great choice. Located just outside the Disney World West gate, the hotel is miles from any other commercial establishment besides a sister hotel that's not open at the present due to the pandemic. Check-in was a breeze and an option is provided to allow your phone to be used as a room key; worked quite well. Found the room to be clean & spacious with a kitchenette to include full-sized refrigerator, microwave, stove, and dishwasher. The only thing missing that I like to use is a room safe. There was in-hotel restaurant called the Flamingo that offered basic options which I found tasty but a bit expensive. The WiFi was free and good connection quality. Overall a big thumbs up.

Stayed here for 7 nights with my wife and two teenage children wile visiting Disneyworld. Here's the good and not so good in my opinion:

Good:
1. Really close to the west entrance of Disneyworld. Animal Kingdom is the closest but we got to the rest of the parks within 10 minutes or so in a rental car.

2. Lots of parking available and the area felt safe and on the newer side.

3. Really good workout room. Free weights and machines. The 50 lb dumbbells were missing for some reason but overall an above average hotel fitness area.

4. Nice pool area with a firepit and bar.

5. Breakfast buffet. Really good breakfast daily. It starts kind of late 6:30 on weekdays and 7 on weekends if you're going to the parks but hot food was a bonus. The menu is basically the same every day: Eggs, turkey sausage, Mickey waffles, oatmeal, fruit, cereal, muffins, juice, and coffee. Could use some peanut butter but had enough variety for everyone. Some hotels use Covid as an excuse to give a bag breakfast but not here. They just have employees serve you as you go down the serving line. I wish every hotel did this during Covid.

Not so good:
1. Masks are not really enforced. We did see an employee ask a lady to put hers on when she was at the front desk but also saw lots of teenagers and some adults not wearing them indoors. No one seemed to be wearing them at the firepit and bar by the pool so if you like to swim or be outside keep that in mind. It wasn't blatant, but was noticeable.

2. The two bedroom suites only have one bathroom so that makes it a little challenging with 4 people getting ready in the morning. Not a huge deal.

3. The beds were really comfortable but the pull out sofa was very hard and uncomfortable you could feel the springs through the mattress.

4. You have to ask for housekeeping prior to the next day if you want a room refresh which we did. For some reason they would remove all the shampoo and replace it daily even if it wasn't empty and leave you with only one, even though we had extra. My wife also had a turbie twist head towel that they accidentally took with the towels. We told them but never got it back. Shower tub was also slow to drain, we called them twice but no one ever came to fix it.

Overall we really liked this place and would recommend it if you want a clean, newer place close to the parks that also has a hot breakfast.

Good Day corinnad620, Thank you so much for taking the time to provide us so much feedback on your recent stay. We are delighted that you share the some thoughts as we do about everything great that we have to offer, we are only fifteen minutes to Magic Kingdom, complimentary parking and breakfast and our resort style pool and firepit area! Agreed, our decision to go back to a hot breakfast instead of the bag or to go breakfast. We made that decision pretty early during the pandemic and our guests really appreciate it. I will take your feedback on areas to improve back to our team and improve on what we can right away....thank you! We look forward to seeing you again soon! Kind regards, Lisa

We visited this hotel back in 2016 for 16 nights and now we came in Aug 2021 for 42 nights for vaccinations and a holiday. This hotel i must say have some of the best staff in the business and their standards are very high . We must say a special thank you to all we’ve interacted with down to the cleaners and cooks were very friendly and helpful. Staff such as Pedro, Karen , Andre , Jamal , others we can’t remember their names and the very own in-house restaurant where the food is superb and very tasty where we met folks like Casey , Tacey , Melinda and others , they are indeed now a part of our family and will always have a special place in our hearts . With all our love for this hotel that feels like home away from home don’t even hesitate just book and enjoy your stay , blessings all 🙏🙏🙏

Although watching TV is not the highlight of a Disney vacation, it is an activity that I enjoy in the evening to unwind. This hotel did not think about their customers when they designed the rooms. The TV is flush mounted to the wall that is facing nothing but the window. Seriously, the TV cannot be swiveled or turned in anyway to face those lying in the bed or sitting on the sofa. There is not one piece of seating that will allow the TV to be watched that doesn’t involve a neck brace at the end of the stay! I’m sure the reason it is not on a swivel or tilt has to do with lawyers and the liability it might cause if someone ran into it in a drunken stupor coming out of the tiny 3x3 kitchette area but I don’t care about the liability! I paid for a clean room with a working TV! Don’t stay here if the TV is important to you.

We stayed at the Townplace Suites @ Flamingo Crossings, Winter Garden, Florida on December 15th - 18th and were definitely NOT pleased at all with our 3-night stay. We have stayed at numerous of your Marriott properties, but this was the worst as far as service, appearance and cleanliness. We arrived on December 15th in the evening and noticed there were only 2 bath towels and no sleeper sofa sheets...just a blanket that was dirty. I went down to ask the individual that was working and he said that he would call housekeeping, I told him we were leaving for dinner and we would come back to the front desk when we got back to pick up the towels and bedding. Two hours later we arrived back from dinner to pick up the missing items and he apparently never called. We were tired and it was late and just wanted to get to bed. It took a while just to get these items and we were annoyed that he didn't initially call for these items. That night I used the air dryer which was SOO loud.... the next day I called the front desk for another one. They said they would bring one up...20 minutes goes by and they brought another one up and that didn't work, not sure why Housekeeping didn't make sure it worked before giving it to me, so I had to call AGAIN and wait another 10 minutes and thankfully that one worked.

When we arrived on December 15th the lamp shade by the sleeper sofa was broken and just hanging there, the baseboards in the bathroom need to be replaced as they look horrible. Also, in the bathroom the ceilings need to be repainted, by the sprinkler as its rusting. The heating register was filled with dirt and it was so gross!! When I go to a hotel, I don't want to be spending my precious time calling the front desk for missing items or waiting around for the staff to bring our stuff. It was such an inconvenience along with being very dirty. My husband, daughter, son and I were appalled by the service, appearance and cleanliness of this property. I hope something is done to keep our business with Marriott Properties.

I frequently stay at Marriott properties and have come to expect a certain level of honesty when it comes to booking rooms. However, I recently stayed with the “fireworks view” for my young daughter as we could not make the parks due to an infant. In order for us to enjoy the “fireworks view” we needed to stay huddled in the corner of a window. Additionally, we had requested (and confirmed same day via mobile check in) to have a crib/pack and play in the room. Not only was there no pack and play, but the one they delivered was both dusty and had (what seems to be) dried spit up/vomit on it. Lastly, for a hotel that is seemingly geared towards Disney families, having club style music go on until late at night is terrible business. I could hear it staying on the 5th floor.

This is an extreme disappointment and will be complaining directly to Marriott upon my return. If I didn’t have two young children with me; I’d have left as it’s impossible to sleep with club music going on while you’re 5 stories up.

I've stayed here twice before and always been happy with everything. We love their pool area and really like their free breakfast. They still advertise a free breakfast but because of Covid and "supply issues" they don't have their usual buffet. In the morning they have Jimmy Dean biscuits you can heat up in your room along with some wrapped breakfast pastries, granola bars and fruit (if you're lucky). Luckily we had eaten out the night before and had leftovers we heated up and ate instead of their breakfast, it was disappointing to say the least.
Other than the breakfast everything was as it usually was, a pleasant stay near WDW.

Mom and I stayed here during our trip to Orlando and the surrounding area. This all-suite hotel by Marriott lived up to our expectation of a Marriott branded hotel property. The experience made us feel comfortable, safe and happy we selected this hotel. This property is about three and a half years old and in an area of growing, expanding resort properties and soon to be more shopping. It's located near Disney's Animal Kingdom and Disney's Blizzard Beach water theme park. This property shares a pool with the SpringHill Suites next door. It also have daily complimentary breakfast buffet with the coffee, eggs, cereal, yoghurt and a selection of juices. The staff members were super friendly and helpful and made us feel welcomed and appreciated as customers.

The Flamingo Crossings Location is great. Unfortunately, that's where the compliments end. Room looked worn down with some mold near the shower. The hotel hallway smelled like a skunk! I'm not even kidding. The free breakfast buffet was nauseating. The eggs were VERY runny and the sausage overcooked to be tough like a hockey puck. We only ate the breakfast *one* time of our entire stay. Thankfully there is a Starbucks across the street. The television is attached to the wall at a very weird angle. You have to sit in bed and crane your neck or lay on the couch which isn't possible for two people to do in order to watch television. I am not one to write reviews or complain but I would skip this hotel until they do a remodel/refresh. Attached to the wall of the shower there is: body wash, shampoo and conditioner. We needed the front desk and they never answer their phone. There was mold growing in the coffee maker so I didn't even use that for coffee. This hotel just made me sad.

We stayed with our granddaughter while visiting WDW Magic Kingdom and SeaWorld over Easter weekend and it more than exceeded expectations. Great location, large extremely clean room with comfy beds, perfect kitchen accomodations, large closet storage accessable from two sides of the room and a good sized table for eating and the homework our girl brought with.

The property shares a large multi-depth pool and poolside restaurant/bar with it's sister hotel Springhill Suites. There's ping-pong available poolside as well. Free breakfast is pretty comprehensive and always busy so go early. The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. Shuttle service to WDW and SeaWorld are available for a small fee and I highly recommend since it was cheaper than the parking fees and no long walk out to your spot.

The room rates are super reasonable considering everything you get and I absolutely recommend this property and would stay here again in a heartbeat.
