I stumbled across this place and the staff were super friendly. gave me plenty of free, valuable advice for trekking Annapurna Circuit. I chose to leave my bags here for 4 weeks and arrived back with no dramas at all. Great Service and super friendly staff.

The Hotel with the locationand the are ok.But be carefull. We arrived from India and they told us the rate not in Nepalese Rupees but in Indian Rupees. That means an more expensive price. So as we want to pay at the arriving day they said:"No,pay at the end."At the departure we are surprised and discussed with them. The only explanation was:"you came from...

we stayed there 3 nights. The room was clean and big enough. There is hot water and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We recommend you this hostel. It s just a few minutes walking of thamel and it s really less noisy. there is a roof top and a little terrasse with some trees at the lower level.

Good sized room, all clean and well furnished. Situated few steps away from the stupid and overcrowded thamel, it is convenient for either tourist-souvenirs-outdoor-shopping, or either soak into the local genuine katmandu - much more interresting in my taste. Of course, for those who need bars and party, i guess you are still close to the animation without being annoyed...

The guy who ran this place (and I'm sorry I don't remember his name) was really friendly and helpful. It was lacking in esthetics, just a room and I didn't feel that comfortable there so I left. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't all that great. They put me up on the 5th floor and I didn't want to climb...

Airport pickup was a great service. The rooms were dark and damp. The electricity goes out for 4+ hours a day and the water went out for a long period of time as well (including the use of the toilets). The pigeons were a major problem and start at sunrise. We were happy with the hotel for what we paid....

Travelling in a group of 5, we stayed in two twin rooms with an added bed in one room. We had an extended stay at Hotel Backpackers of 9 nights in total. The first 8 were spent there waiting for our Indian visas to be processed. The hotel is excellent value for money. Clean bedding, western toilet, hot water (even...

“For a natural alarm request a room on the inside near the pidgeon shute. They will wake you up promptly to get the early morning deals at the local shops. for better wifi (power/electricity permitting) request a room above the main lobby”

“there are three types of rooms. all of them have windows. the rooms with window to the courtyard are little bit noisier because of pigeons planing their family. the best tranquility you find in the rooms with garden window. the best internet connection is provided in the rooms close to the reception.”
