Great villa where we stayed for 5 nights. Tammy Owen who is the manager, is a wonderful manager. Beautiful nature - awesome to dive thru Big Canoe Country - very secured community! Gated - both going in and going out! Many things to visit nearby. Even playing golf, fishing and boating as well as hiking!

Big Canoe is an amazing place - and there really is no place like it in the United States. This is a gated 8000 acre protected woodsy mountain community yet with every amenity you can imagine. After traveling all over the country, there really is no other place like it. The resort is just one part of a much larger...

We got lucky because this was only unit I could see that didn't involve steep stairs to get to unit. We had about 30 feet of sidewalk to our front door. The villas are 37 years old so don't expect granite counter tops and the latest decor. However, they have been well maintained and trees are all around you. The...

Thank you for taking the time for giving us a review on Trip Advisor! We love our Big Canoe community and are proud of the way it is maintained. Yes, there are many rules which make for the peace, quiet and natural beauty that IS Big Canoe! We have the rules in place for the garbage to keep the bears...

My niece and her fiance booked a cabin for the week prior to their wedding. The family gathered on Oct 8th for a cook out after the wedding rehearsal. The cabin was awesome and the surroundings were just beautiful. We enjoyed family and friends in a peaceful community in the mountains of North GA. The water, the trails, the picnic...

Thanks to the generosity of my lovely sister, seven members of the family spent a week in cabin 609. Do not accept cabin 609! Extremely difficult climb from the parking to the cabin. With the added burden of food and other supplies it was a very unpleasant trek. Another problem in the heat of summer was the electric fireplace that...

Many guests do a special request for 609 because they love being at the top of the mountain! I do apologize since it was a burden for you. If you call the office as soon as your reservation is made, and request easy access we do our best to accommodate your request. Our villas are just built on the side...

we have owned a timeshare for over 20 years and look forward to trying new places. There are some that we add to our list to visit again - THIS IS ONE OF THEM. We enjoyed the marina and golf course as well as canoeing on the lake. There is a cost for the extras, but they are well worth...

Stayed here with friends for a week. The villa was in a nice location but clearly needed some updating. Starting to look a little run down. My biggest issue was the outdated internet router, 2012 slow speed model, in the villa. It kept cutting in and out and since I deal with clients all over the world on a daily...

Thank you for your review of Petit Crest. We certainly appreciate your concerns with your internet service, and agree with you that it is outdated. BUT it is the best available wi-fi service inside Big Canoe at this time! We have changed our FREE wi-fi correspondence to say S-L-O-W; Big Canoe is currently negotiating a contract with an internet provider...
