This was a one night stop over for us. The campground was very quiet with several ponds that were nice to walk the dog around. They were in the middle of remodeling the bathhouse and laundry room near the office during our visit which will only make it nicer. The bathroom that was open has already been remodeled and very...

Staff was very friendly and the campground was very clean. We stayed while attending a school event in Athens. Campground was about 20 minutes from Athens. Great place to stay to see the city, without have to stay in a high priced hotel.

My husband and I stayed here for our very first camp in our new camper. It's a small, quaint campground with several ponds. All of the sites are shady, and several are on the water. They also have 5 or 6 cabins of varying sizes. My friend stayed in one, the Voyager - it was so cute! It looked recently...

Booked "The Traveler" with my daughter for a three night stay. We were in town for a wedding in Athens. The cabin is clean an quiet with a nice outdoor sitting area and fire pit. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a room in Athens for the wedding night we wish we had just stayed here instead. The trip to...

I needed a place to stay in/near Athens for a business trip, discovered Pine Lake RV Campground, and opted to camp instead of staying in a hotel. Very friendly service, clean restrooms, and tranquil settings surrounded my site. The sites themselves, signage, hook-ups, facilities, and roads were all well maintained. People that really love camping don't really need a lot...

Large lots. Gravel road and sites. Most seem level. Some permanent but everything very clean. $35 a night. Directtv but not cable. If you aren't a subscriber to Direct they will rent a box for $5 a night. You cannot get Dish here, too many trees or local tv. Verizon phone works fairly well, between 2 and 3 bars. They...

I've been camping here for 4 months while pursuing some health care issues and recuperating from a surgery. The campground is peaceful, shady with water features that provide the soothing sound of moving water. It's pet friendly and they have a variety of charming wildlife to observe. Gray squirrels, tiny chipmunks and birds galore. In addition, the grounds have many...

I dislike leaving negative reviews; however, I would want to be advised ahead of time about this place. One of the owners at check-in was very friendly, but it was downhill after that. The nature trail is about 15 minutes long and the "outhouse" that is meant to be funny with a dummy inside has a very active and dangerous...

Chris and Rita, we dislike receiving negative reviews as well. Since yours is one of only three or four negative reviews we have ever received in our 25 years of business, we are comforted knowing your opinion is overwhelmingly in the minority. Our family works diligently to keep our campground clean, safe, and functional. Our occupancy rate is evidence that...

If you want a peaceful and relaxing Park to spend time and unwind, this is the place. However, this is not the place when traveling with the grand kids. The owners are fantastic, the showers are spotless and the time on the driers is generous. There are trees galore, I think every spot has shade, but you're on your own...

This is not the place to go for activities or to socialize. There are no activities period. But if you enjoy quiet and solitude in a peacefull rural setting it is ideal. Excellent shaded sites. Reasonable rates. No pool.
