I booked a stay online a few hrs before arrival in early April, 2021. I was on a long road trip with my family heading home from FL. When I arrived at approx 10pm, I was informed that, despite my reservation, there were no rooms available. The night clerk did what they could, but instead I had to stay at another Holiday Inn 30min away and pay a higher rate. When I returned home, I reached out to corporate and opened a case in order to understand why I couldn't get a room despite my reservation. Corporate told me the hotel will call me within 48hrs. 2 weeks later, after no response, I reach back out to corporate. I explain the lack of resolution and they put me on hold to contact the hotel directly. The hotel tells corporate that my credit card had been declined and therefore my room was not held. This is a shock to me as I had been using the card all day and continue to use it even now. I explain that at no point did anyone from the hotel tell my card had been declined and the hotel's response is most certainly a lie. Corporate then tells me they must stand behind the individual's hotel policy and that I'm out of luck. There's nothing that can be done. However, I was told that I could reach out to the hotel directly and speak with the GM, Darla. When I called, I was told she'd call me back, but surprise, she doesn't. I strongly believe this hotel and GM screwed up with my reservation and, rather than own up to their mistake, are trying to cover their butts by lying about the situation. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior and shocking that IHG as a brand is unwilling to rectify the issue.…
What a pleasant surprise. Got in late after 10 pm. This is the nicest hotel we have stayed at throughout our trip. Turns out it was the most economical also. Rooms are clean. It was quiet amd we slept great. They have a breakfast you can order amd get more than a box of yogurt and muffin. Staff was cheerful. The only thing I wish they would change is the shower floor. It is very slippy which scares us. They need to out strips down to keep from anyone falling.
We stopped for a quick overnight on our way to Florida. Erica checked us in around 10:30 pm and was friendly and informative. Our room was very nice, and clean. Very comfy bed and everything appeared to be updated not too long ago. The bathroom was really great! Awesome shower, and even better that there was shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel in dispensers in the shower. The gel disorder didn’t work, but tyler was also bar soap, so it was no issue. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel, and would definitely stay again.
The property was very accommodating to my dog by greeting her every time we came in. The room was pretty clean and the breakfast was very good and safely ran by some very kind breakfast ladies. The indoor pool was chilly but overall a pleasant stay.
Greeted nicely upon arrival. Super friendly. Cleanliness procedures were in place. Our room was very clean and happy to see refillable shampoo, etc. Tons of channel choices were available. There is some road noise due to proximity to highway. Huge variety of restaurants at this exit. Overall very good stay.
