I am a Marriott rewards member and have stayed at many Marriott properties over the years. This property does not meet those expected standards. I had read the reviews but ignored them. Our light over the sink in the bathroom did not work, the outlets on the lamp by the bed did not work (husband needs that for his Cpap machine) there is a floor lamp, but useless as there isn’t any way to plug it in, there wasn’t any soap at the bathroom sink, breakfast food was not maintained with the volume of guest and the tables not sanitized between guest. Worst of all, when calling the front desk that evening to ask for help with the bathroom sink light, the front desk was extremely rude and did nothing to help. Yes, we did complain the following morning. Positive: 2 resturant choices in the parking lot. Management needs to pay attention as to what is going on at this Marriott property.

Stopped and stayed to avoid driving in storms on our way back from Florida, as I trust Marriott in these weird times, but this hotel was disappointing. I’m not sure the housekeeping staff is following proper cleaning protocols. The lobby was clean. However, our room was a bit dusty/dirty and my 6 yr old found a pair of dirty underwear (not ours) on the floor by the bed. There were candies stuck to the floor. The bathroom had no soap or anything to wash our hands. I was disgusted but it was the only room left! (Of course) so we slept and got the heck outta there!

First the clocks weren’t changed. We didn’t catch that and woke up 1 hour later. Didn’t really feel any empathy from staff. Training another staff. Night staff trying keep up at 8:00pm seem to be only staff person. Breakfast out of items by 8:30. Room was clean and great. Seemed cleaning standards kept up.

First the positives: Walk to Applebees and LongHorn Steakhouse, Nice Bed, Upgraded to mini suite. Not so positive: Had to change rooms as the bathroom lite didn't work (How do they clean it?), Next room - Accessible Room; OK that is not so bad, but - if I were HC. the shower sprayer was broken - unusable, the soap dispensers were out of reach for a seated shower guest, the in-shower bench looked as if it could pull out of the wall if sat on - "Ouch". Bath room had only 2 towels, 1 wash cloth, checked with the front desk got 2 more towels, but no w-cloths available, no hair dryer. Microwave inside was greasy. like popcorn grease bag had exploded, Bad lighting in general (although they aren't special in the category, most hotels have horrible lighting). No tv info info or guide. The HI Express is much better but not up to their par either.

My daughter and I visited this hotel on December 19, 2020 for one night. The hotel lobby was clean, the night clerk wore her mask. There is a large sign on the door that masks are required . Our room was very spacious, and a sign saying this room has been cleaned, and they even had wipes. The TV clicker had a plastic bag over it. Well, the I home radio had a layer of dust on it that I was able to write words in it. The table had a layer of dust on it. I do not think the house keeping staff ever dusted the furniture!!!! Upon check out, I showed the day clerk the pictures, he just shrugged his shoulders. He was not even wearing a mask. As a representative of the Marriott chain of hotels, he should have been in compliance with their states policy. I asked to have my points refunded, as the room was dirty and unsanitary. He refused. I have never been so disappointed in a hotel visit, especially in a hotel that had a sign in the room about cleanliness. The day agents name was Hayden ( I’ll leave out his last name). Hayden states no manager was available, and did not make our stay right. We are diamond Marriott reward members, and will think twice about staying in another Marriott facility.
