Although we got off to a slow start while waiting for the Inn to open; found out the Blueberry Cabin where we were staying is down narrow steep stone steps; aired out the cottage; unpacked our suitcase - we then enjoyed several memorable days eating wonderful breakfasts and sharing visits with other guests during "Wine-Thirty" on the grand porch. Portions...

We are very sorry you experienced difficulty with the steps to the Blueberry Cabin. To make guests aware in advance the first thing our website says about the Blueberry Cabin is “This luxuriously restored North Georgia Cabin is private and located down a flight of garden steps. . .” Once we were aware of your concern about the steps we...

Our first visit to the Beechwood Inn we stayed in the first floor, corner, Vineyard Room. A very large and spacious king room with the usual quaint antique B&B decor. Plenty of counter&table space for our personal items&eletronic stuff that we always travel with. No lack of electrical outlets, which was a plus! Also a sizable, comfortable sofa, which we...

My wife and I stayed in the King Suite (Savannah Suite) on Saturday May 6, 2017. The bedroom and remodeled bathroom was awesome. The inn keepers were gracious and fixed a wonderful breakfeast. The best feature of the inn is the front porch. It is facing the mountains and is so peaceful. We could have sleep on the porch if...

My husband and I stayed one night during a road trip and really enjoyed our stay. Wine-thirty was a great treat where we had wine and appetizers with the host. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was amazing! Local eggs and cheese, house smoked sausage and potatoes. Tasty and filling as we headed out for a day of...

My first thought after staying here is that I don't want anybody else to know about this place because I want to keep it a secret. But that wouldn't be fair to David, Gayle, or John at The Beechwood Inn. They deserve more than 5 stars. The Inn itself is very nostalgic and quaint with beautiful views of the mountains....

Great place food is out of this world paired with local wines. Loved the decor of each room. The inn keepers were great host. Just can't say enough! Friends also love the area as we had the whole place to ourselves. Travel to wineries in the county very near to drive two days.

This Inn is just off the intersection of 441 and US 76. You're not too far from some nice restaurants and shopping in Clayton. As you turn off 441 to 76 it is a fairly quick left. Look for the Beechwood sign. Then a quick right on a narrow road. Then another right on an even narrower driveway to the...

The Beechwood Inn and its friendly owners, Gayle and David Darugh, will help make your stay in this scenic spot a memorable one. The Inn is a 101 year old home that has been transformed into a bed and breakfast, decorated with period antiques and modern comforts, and with a large wraparound porch. The Inn features local wines, farm to...

Our first trip to Clayton, Ga was our stay at Beechwood Inn and well worth the trip. We will definitely return. Fabulous location nestled in the mountains with wonderful views and charming hosts. Winethirty is their evening social time, giving us the opportunity to get acquainted and comfortable. David, Galye & John made our stay warm and inviting. We will...

It's always risky when you love a place enough to bring friends with you the next time, but David, Gayle, John and the rest of the team at Beechwood assured that our friends now love the place as much as we do. Welcoming environment, magnificent food and just a wonderful stay again. Already thinking about when we can come back!...
