My husband and I along with our 2 teens just spent 5 nights in one of the lovely cottages at Mountain Aire. The cottage is fully equipped, clean, decorated beautifully, and has a great deck, outdoor grill, and fire pit. The Innkeeper, Frank, is wonderful and so very helpful. He truly cares about your visit and wants to make sure...

We wish we could have stayed longer! The cottages are well maintained inside and out, and the rocking chairs on the porch were a perfect place to enjoy the beautiful weather. We left the windows open at night and woke up to the cool morning air and a variety of chirping birds. Blissful! And Frank's hospitality and attention to detail...

Me, my husband and grandson enjoyed our stay at Mountain Aire Cottages last week while we came to trout fish in nearby river and streams. Frank made us feel at home being a great host and new friend. He was always willing to help us find good places to eat and make sure that we had whatever we needed. Our...

These cottages are so great--close to Clayton and all it has to offer, yet far enough away to stay out of the busier sections. Well equipped kitchens, grill, roomy and a wonderful innkeeper. Frank does a great job or orienting you to the area and is a gracious host. We stayed for a long weekend. Great value. Will definitely stay...

I received a tour of the units and can say Frank has done a detailed upgrade on all of these units in the last few years. Attention to details stand out. Like coffee with enough creamer and sugar for everyone. Cutlery, dishes, cups. The rooms feel like they have been decorated like they were someone's home. It amazes me how...

Me and my husband needed a getaway... And boy this sweet place delivered! 2 nights in Clayton was not anywhere near enough! We ate at great places Mr. Frank suggested and loved relaxing on the deck with him. Thank you Mr. Frank!

From the moment you drive into the property, the hustle of the world fades behind you. Franks care for the property is only exceeded by his genuine care for his guest. Will go out of our way to return

Staying at Mountain Aire isn't like staying in a motel at all; it's more like staying in a friend or relative's guest room. There aren't people walking by your room at all hours of the night and no loud cars in the parking lot. We always feel safe and comfortable there, and we always feel like our patronage is really...

Stayed at this place two nights ago. Great value, very clean. The owner has done a great job with it. Landscaping and setting is beautiful. I would stay there again. Would be great place for an outdoors weekend from Atlanta.

I have no complains and if you look at the reviews no one else has valid complains either. One review complained about allergy problems but was clearly allergic to the property cat that that wanders about and greets you on occasion. I stay in a lot of hotels and this one is a keeper. The owner is honest and hard...
