We usually stay at another hotel nearby but on this occasion chose Hotel Oberle for our overnight stop. The hotel is well placed in the small town of Kilstett, with private parking. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the owners very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was closed while we were there but the menu looks interesting and we hope to be able to try it on our next visit.

We stayed at the hotel on our way back from the Vosges battlefields to the Netherlands.

The hotel is situated at a 10 mins drive from the A35 north.

We were able to secure 3 rooms at a very short notice.

The rooms are basic, but comfortable. The beds were great, bathroom spacious and my romm had a seperate toilet. Most important, the rooms were spotless!

We had drinks and dinner in the hotels restaurant, and boy, what an experience! Service was friendly throughout our stay and in specific with dinner, the food was more than excellent, the wine list comprehensive but more tha sufficient.

All in all, a place to remember!

We stayed here last night and really enjoyed it. It's in a beautiful little village, but is within just 20 minutes of Strasbourg. We ordered a triple room, but I think they gave us a quadruple. It had one queen and two singles. The room was easily big enough for all of us. We didn't have a balcony, but we did have a view of the garden. There is a bath tub, which is really nice, but the towels are of the sandpaper variety. There is a restaurant downstairs. My husband and daughter really liked their meals, but my creme schnitzel was a bit dry. There is no air conditioning, but the windows do open. The front desk is also the restaurant bar, so go in through the restaurant, and they'll show you up to your room. There was only one lady who spoke English when we checked in, and nobody who spoke English when we checked out. But, they did speak German, so my rudimentary German served me well.

We stayed here for a night just really for a sleep on our way to Kitzbuhel.
Personally the location is a bit secluded and there was nothing to do in the area.

The reception is the bar/restaurant and only 1 member of staff spoke a little English.

The rooms though we're lovely, very spacious and cool considering the heat outside! Comfy beds which was exactly what we needed after travelling for 20 hours in a car! But being British we were disappointed that we didnt have a kettle in our room (i was desperate for a cuppa)!!

We did not eat in the reataurant we went up the road for a pizza takeaway but were given a complimentary crossaint with our coffee's we bought the next morning.

Overall, a boring but comfy stay!

Great to revisit resto Oberle to enjoy menu with touch of autumn. Flowers picked up from the garden of the hotel give personal touch to the decor, placed an each table from breakfast to dinner they add the esthetic element to daily rithual of food consumption. Each dish on the menu decorated with autumnn fruit and vegetables makes you feel the great classics of the chef even more tasty. Great idea to go back to stay Oberle in November.

Familty atmosphere at Joelle, Florent and their two daughters, named like princesses of Monaco, Caroline and Stephanie share the warmth of their home, the third generation of hotel owners with tradition of simplicity, elegance, and a genuine style of hospitality. Relaxed atmosphere, lovely country style interior, with rosust chairs and season flowers from the garden, it is a ideal setting for those looking for tranquilty and harmony.
Hoever it is Florian talent of chef that galvanises the place, a magnet for travelling businessman, and Strasbourg inhabitants looking for sophistication of food and calm.
One Michelin star 2017 is understatement. Bon appetite!

This hotel is situated out of Strasbourg but it is a ten minute drive to the train station of Hoenheim. With the parking ticket two people can go to the city centre (€4). Some rooms are really beautiful whilst some are rather old (same price) so ask for a new room. The breakfast is not good value so have coffee and buy something in a boulangerie. The owners are very helpful and really kind. This is a good place to stop to visit Strasbourg.
