It is obvious that they are working to improve the quality and condition of this motel. They have begun outside, and have updated some of the colors inside. The Mgmt showed us pictures of the changes in furnishings and materials in the rooms that they are going to be doing very soon. These upgrades look very similar to another Super8...

My husband and I just came back from a long weekend in Dahlonega,Ga. We were so pleased with our experience at this hotel that I just had to write and let people know that there is an inexpensive, clean, comfortable, courteous place to stay in Dahlonega that is close to everything. The manager and owner, Al Patel, is available 24/7...

Stayed here during Gold Rush Days. The hotel is close to everything. They had a shuttle to festivities which you had to pay $10pp to ride all day, but we walked instead. Hotel is a little less than a mile away from the festivities (all sidewalks) but there is one long hill to walk up to get to town. There...

This was without doubt the filthiest, dirtiest hotel I have ever seen. I had to kick to room door to get it to open. The lights did not work. The carpet was disgusting and the smell in the room was god-awful. The manager was inattentive and rude. It was so bad, I could not stay there. I demanded a refund...

Went the 2nd weekend in October and everything was sold out even in neighboring towns except for 1 room at this place. There were several events going on in nearby cities and here so I didn't have much choice - which is the ONLY reason we stayed here. It was dirty and disgusting. We slept on top of the beds...

Stayed here for a girls weekend. Most hotels were booked already d/t Oktoberfest in Helen. As stated in other reviews, this place needs some updating. Furninshings are dated. Beds uncomfortable. We refused first assigned room due to bathroom light fixture flickering constantly and noisy air conditioner. They were nice about complaints and promptly assigned us another room. We did not...
