My wife and I greatly enjoyed our trip! Here are some tips for your trip: First stop is the Amicalola Falls Visitor Center. You must be there by 2pm to check in. That’s partly because the five mile hike will take you 1.5 to 4 hours, depending on your pace and stops, and dinner is served at the Inn at...

If you are willing to hike a gentle 5 miles, you will be rewarded by staying at the Hike Inn an ecolodge surrounded by a forest sitting at the foot on the Appalachian trail. The food is served family style and the sleeping quarters consist of bunks. Community composting toilets and showers are remarkably functional and well maintained..The luxury is...

Such a great place to seriously get away with a no cell phone policy. Don't bring anything you don't want to carry back with you. Conservation efforts, only bring in what you're going to take out. Love the, "The hike is the only way inn" slogan.

My family, me my husband, and 9 year old daughter, hiked in this week. Cool weather and no blooms yet. Snakes are not out yet so yay! Dinner was wonderful and we heard from a couple that hiked thru the AT after dinner. We all enjoyed the talk (and the Eco tour before dinner with Katy-and seeing the composting worms). Breakfast was...

My sister and I booked this hike last minute because the weather was so beautiful. We are not hikers. The 5 mile hike in was absolutely beautiful. It took us 4 hours. The Len Foote Hike Inn lodge is a very cool, unique place. It's an Eco-lodge. We had no idea what that meant. Eco friendly is the best way...

Amazing. Wonderful staff, great food and clean rooms and showers...who could ask for anything better! Highly recommended. Beautiful sunrise views in the morning are not to be missed. I especially enjoyed the library and reading areas. Don't miss the tour of the property...very interesting.

My husband and I have been to Len Foote about 6 times and we will go again and again. We always take friends for a group adventure and everyone loves it! Food is delicious! Can't beat the surroundings!

This is a small piece of heaven on earth. My 15 friends and I hiked to the inn, it's aproximitely 5 mile hike. But we'll worth it, we go once a year. The food is good, the staff is friendly not in your face type. We love it here.

Hike Inn is great for any type of party. Even with a high today of 40 and an anticipated low tonight in the low 20s or upper teens. It's nice and cozy at the Hike Inn. Lodging includes dinner and breakfast family style. Lodge is sold out tonight, on a weeknight. 4.8 miles from Amicalola Falls, or slightly longer if...

The staff is friendly and the other hikers are too. I went twice last year and really enjoyed it. Good food served family style. All the basics are provided, just bring a change of clothes and a toothbrush! Peaceful and relaxing. Can't wait to go back!
