Beautiful surroundings and lovely comfortable room, however the restaurant is just awful. $20 for a fatty steak and rock hard baked potato, and a thick black hair in my salad which when pointed out they didn't offer to change or refund. Captive audience I guess.

Well behaved and leashed dogs are welcome throughout the park. We enjoy seeing all sorts of dogs daily at Amicalola Falls State Park. We have two dog-friendly cabins, as well. No pets are allowed inside the lodge or restaurant, however, unless they are certified service animals.
