The food is served "Family Style", nothing Family about it. Server left the plastic bowls and plates on our table. The edges were covered in food, making it hard to pass around, unless you want food all over your hands. How long does it take...More
Was in the area on vacation so stopped in for dinner with my wife on a very busy Sunday night. Had to wait about 1/2 for a table for two, but service was fast and friendly. Brought us a ton of food family style, all...More
The Dillard House is getting a little age on it but it's still a great getaway ! The quiet peaceful setting is unmatched. Each unit has a nice back porch with rocking chairs for great evening enjoyment.
We didn't stay at hotel but visited the grounds, distillery and took pictures. It's a great photo op up here. The restaurant costs $22 per person for lunch buffet though which was pricey for us. It has bathrooms near the gift shop and restaurant if...More

Janis, my wife and I stayed there earlier this year. I believe the experience is what people make of it. The dllard house is in the middle of so much to do. They have the little zoo and horseback riding on site and the rooms all have nice views, though it has been the late 90s since I stayed in a valley view room. I remember that back porch with the rocking chairs and being able to look in the valley and see the horses. As far as food, I remind myself, there is live music and it is all you can eat style plus with all the trails, waterfalls and other activities in the area you have plenty chance to work it off enjoyably. Hope this helps. Take care.
