Had not been to Dillard in many years, but husband and I decided to tour North Georgia and to stay at the Dillard House. We had a king size room, no. 153 in the Blue Ridge unit. The room was clean, BUT you talk about antiquated. Let's just say, the room did not equate to the price we paid! Oh,...

We have been coming to the Dillard House for over 20 years on our way to the mountains. We took some friends for lunch last week and as always were not disappointed. The food was delicious, with great variety and huge portion size. Be sure to take a cooler with you for left overs. We had enough food for dinner....

We have stayed at the Dillard House for many years and they allow pets in two of the buildings. The rooms are comfortable and I like the sliding doors to small porch with rockers. The southern breakfast is great and though on the expensive side the food is all you can eat and you can even get leftovers to take...

It's probably been at least three decades since I ate at the Dillard House. My husband said he didn't think we had been before. Well first let me say that we got a fantastic seat over by the glass window looking outward to the pasture and the hills in the background. It was so picturesque. Just lovely! Then to add...

There is something very special about the Dillard house. It's set in a country setting with rolling hills, and the dining area is surrounded by many windows that overlook the beautiful property. The food is served family style, and it's all you can eat, and the food is beyond AMAZING. Their ham was once featured on Food a network, and...

Check In: Check in was less than smooth. We arrived right at 3PM, the advertised check-in time and was told the room was not ready. We toured the local town for about an hour before going back to the facility. At check-in the front desk personnel violated the very basics of hospitality industry security standards by stating our room number...

Because there are no menus. Pay attention to the board with the daily offerings when you come through the front door. And do not expect gourmet food. What you will be served is a plethora of home style offering from meat and poultry, to vegetables and potatoes and of course warm freshly baked breads. As we sat down, a delightful...

Definitely not what I remembered growing up! First they tried to seat us by the windows that were full of flies and crumbs all over the window sills. Then once we got seated somewhere else the server grabbed food from a nearby table and said it was our starter. My question was that we weren't previously sitting at the nearby...

We went on a Sunday and had a young blonde waitress who came for our drink order and never checked on us again. Thankfully another young girl who was busting tables, named Kristin, came to our rescue. She brought out more drink and food. The waitress passed our table multiple times and never stopped. Her attitude was awful. We paid...

I've never been to this restaurant but heard great things. This past Sunday, my husband and I finally went. The food is served family style but you can ask for more if you'd like. They served various vegetables like fried ochra, cream of corn, green beans, carrots and others. They had fried chicken, country steak, and ham. Too much stuff...

Not sure which is Chalet 2 but they are all quite nice but rustic. Make sure it is not the chalet with the hot tub in the bedroom because that smell of chlorine drove to another but smaller bedroom.

We have stayed in Chalets #2,6 & 13 and we have enjoyed ourselves each time. #2 & #13 were good sized but #6 was a bit too small. The cabins are rustic but very clean and they have maid service each day. We plan to go back again this year.
