We live in this community place to live just wanted to let renters know some facts. The lake & pavilion, canoes, and fishing is for residents only. This is a catch and realease fishing lake. Signs are posted around the lake for residents only. Sorry so are all the hiking trails. Haven't stayed in unit

My daughter and I only spent one night here but I am fairly certain we will both remember it for a long time. The property is so beautiful and serene. The service from Roger was excellent. The rooms are luxurious and well-equipped. We could not have asked for more.

Gorgeous...Beautiful...serenity now! It was more than we expected. We will definitely be back. Roger made us feel right at home. The property is located in an isolated area, so if you are looking to relax this is the place. The breakfast was fit for a king, bed was nice, bathrooms are roomy and beautiful.

Blessed by good timing, my bride and I were the only guests arriving on a quiet, sunny midweek afternoon in early spring well before the popular weeks of the summer season. We enjoyed the drive through Ellijay and up past apple orchards onto the short lane to the large gate and gatehouse at the edge of the property. After entering the code into the electronic system that controls the high gates, we were speechless in response to our first view of the property as it came into sight. A long sweeping slope of well-tended grass leads down to the lovely lake, behind which rise a range of north Georgia mountains. To the left side of the lake a walking bridge, toward the middle of the near shore an attractive Scandinavian lodge of log and stone, and to the right a stream with natural waterfalls cascading over the rocks--we were in a place we had seen before, but only in dreams, travel magazines, or films. Innkeeper Roger Patterson emerged from the innkeeper's cottage next to the lodge, greeted us, gave us a friendly orientation to the place, and then left us alone to enjoy it for a few hours before serving us the dinner that he had offered to prepare for us for only a modest extra charge. That night, just following a full moon, we slept the sleep of the gods in a huge and comfortable bed, waking occasionally to look out at the moonlight playing on the surface of the lake. Breakfast the next morning featured Roger's fluffy and delicious blueberry pancakes, omelette, toast, and fresh coffee. We almost wept when we departed, having scheduled a next stop in Nashville that we were unable to cancel in order to stay longer in the most beautiful--and most delightfully quiet--place we may ever be privileged to experience during the rest of our days.

My husband and I stayed in this newly opened B&B recently and thoroughly enjoyed it! The lodge sits on a 10-acre lake and is surrounded by incredible mountain views in every direction! Each room is beautifully appointed and the details are not missed! We hiked the trails (not a long or difficult hike) enjoyed the waterfall and took a little canoe trip around the lake. Roger, the inn-keeper, was very attentive and friendly-he loves his job and it shows. He provided heavy appetizers and wine at sunset as well as a hearty breakfast in the morning so that we didn't have to leave paradise! I hesitate to write a review because with only four guest rooms in the lodge, we are making it more difficult to book our next visit!! For those wanting a relaxing getaway in great surroundings in a convenient location, you should consider Falling Waters!
