Imagine a cross between a resort, a summer camp, a campground/"glampground," and an outdoor adventure hostel. That's Mulberry Gap! With cabins, campsites, shuttles, day passes, and great meals, we're an excellent base camp for outdoor adventure. We're located in the heart of the designated Mountain Bike Capital of Georgia. We are surrounded by some of the best trails for mountain biking, gravel cycling, hiking, trail running, and outdoor exploration in the southeast; Pinhoti, Bear Creek, Mountaintown Creek, Windy Gap, and Milma along with forest service roads, which connect the trail options and can be accessed right out of our driveway. We are here for everyone who wants to get outdoors, and when you finally arrange time to head to the mountains, there is great anticipation about the outdoor adventures that lie ahead. Whether it’s a week, a weekend or a day trip, you want to escape and immerse yourself in the thrills and challenges of the North Georgia Mountains!

Had a fantastic time on the January shuttle day event. The shuttle ran on time and, as usual, there was a great group of people riding the trails. Mulberry Gap seems to attract good people every time I've been there. The owners really care about the place and do a good job with check in and all the various other things that go along with the stay or day trip. If you are looking for a good day or weekend get away and you like to ride MTB trails there is not a better place in this area in my opinion. There are a couple of decent climbs after the shuttle drops on P2 and P3 so be in decent shape or prepare to walk a little. This is Appalachian MTBing not a bike park but the downhills payoff nice.

Shuttle service Pinhoti 2 is a complete joke and waist of money! Does NOT take you up the hill. There is still ALOT of uphill, at least half. If considering the shuttle service, save your money. Might not be that way for all the trails but was for this one.

Thank you for the feedback! We appreciate you coming to visit us for the day and are sorry to hear of this negative experience with our shuttle service. While the shuttle does help you avoid most of the gravel roads and a good chunk of the climbing (all while saving your legs for the singletrack), the nearby trails do have quite a bit of climbing regardless. Strict downhill runs don't exist in this region based on the ridgeline to ridgeline terrain of the Southern Appalachian Mountains. In the future, we are happy to go over the trail options that best meet your needs or suggest other trails in the region that are well suited to your mountain biking goals.

The area was gorgeous the facilities were clean, and the staff were utterly accommodating. Community style dining was fantastic and gave us a chance to meet some great people. Favorite part of the trip was Matt (who helped with a last minute valve stem replacement) and the “no shame” shuttle service!

Although I don't bike, Mulberry Gap is a wonderful place to visit for hiking, delicious food, clean and comfortable accommodations and friendly staff! The views are beautiful and the location is quiet and remote but close enough to Ellijay and Blue Ridge for some fun shopping, eating and drinking! :)
