Stayed here 20 August for 3 nights, hotel check in states 3pm arrived 3.15 our room was not ready, this was the first of many problems with this hotel. Firsty the hotel is exceptionally expensive for what is offered, we finally reached our room at 5pm this was a sea view room where we could not open the curtains as... More

Even though I have costeno friends, I have a problem with them when I visit their lands. Many times I see them as arrogant and simply aloof, even when in the hospitality industry. San Andres is 100% tourism, yet they treat tourists so poorly (walking ATMs) and they treat this beautiful island like a baby treats a diaper. But if... More

The Calypso Beach Hotel is on the northern boardwalk and beach. Average amenities - bar, buffet, pool, clean rooms. Lobby area is being remodeled - staff stated 2 more months. Taxi stand is a block away and affects guests at this and several nearby hotels. The Calypso Beach is always busy as it is a popular plan package hotel. A... More

I was here for business, for a convention, this review is for a corporate traveler. This is a local hotel, for local families on vacation. This is not a fancy hotel with hot water or Internet access in every room, not available. Having said that, the rooms are clean, simple, and facing the beach, very close to everything (shopping, restaurants).... More

The hotel is really modest with a rather depressing lobby. I complained about lack of wifi in the rooms (available only in the lobby) and they gave me a large 6-floor room with breathtaking view of the ocean. The plan includes food (breakfast and dinner). If you can avoid both–and of course the plan. Food is so basic that is... More

I traveled with my parents in a family vacaction. Since the moment we arrived, we noticed this wasn't a good hotel. The service is so poor, the cleaning has a lot to improve and the food is regular with few options although is offered as a buffet. The worse thing: we let a suitcase in the Hotel Lobby (just for... I unfortunately did not read the reviews for this hotel prior to leaving. I relied on my travel agent in colombia who said its not a bad hotel. This hotel was terrible from the start. Had to wait 3 hours to get to our room. They had booked 200 young basketball players into the hotel and they were staring, eyeing... More
