The hotel is in the center of town, very clean and decorated outside with the European influence. The clerk was extremely helpful with suggestions of places to eat and both suggestions were excellent! The rooms were clean with a refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. The only suggestion would be to ask for the 2nd floor because it might be a...

We loved our stay at the Heidi! We arrived over an hour early for check-in and our room was ready. The woman that checked us in was super friendly. We stayed in a double queen room on the second floor. The room was clean and the beds are comfortable. We LOVE the location of the Heidi Motel. It's right in...

When we rolled into town and I saw this motel I just had to stay here. This Helen GA landmark perched on a hilltop was also a great bargain as we were able to get a room on a Saturday night for under $100. Now some people prefer new and updated accommodations but that wouldn't fit in in this little...

It was a perfect long weekend for a couple. The room is romantic with a king bed, hot tub, fireplace, and shower for 2. The staff is friendly and the place is quiet. The place is clean and located close (walking) distance to shops and restaurants. I would suggest this place to anyone and we will be back.

Found this motel on a list of 15 Best Romantic Getaways in Georgia by the Crazy Tourist. Rented the King Hot Tub suite and found it to be even better than described. Clean, spacious yet intimate, nicely renovated with a gas fire place in the main room and an awesome Hot Tub next to the bathroom with double showers in...

The Motel was as cute as the rest of Helen. Right on the edge of town, it had easy walking distance to all the shops, cafes, and stores in town. The room was clean and cozy and nice in a simple way. It was a little outdated, but that doesn't matter because we were rarely in the room. It's a...

I love this place. I originally planned to stay somewhere else but they didn't have a microwave, which is a necessity for my travel on the cheap style. So I ended up here, and oh my gosh was I glad I did! Not only is it gorgeous (and cheaper than the no microwave place), but it is quiet and comfortable,...

Could walk to all the restaurants and shops. Sits a little above street level so didn,t hear any noise. Used the hot tub twice as well as the fireplace. We will return! Staff helpful and pleasant to work with.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Heidi motel is located in down town and is one of the most Photographed building in Helen, GA and is one of the landmarks to the town and also are currently the only Motel in this area that you can actually stay in a windmill. We do not do a Breakfast due to the fact that we are across from Bettys country store and 2 buildings down from Hoffers Bakery which we recommend to all our guest to go for a great German breakfast and lunch. We have no pool due to the fact that we are so close to the river and that there are 2 water parks in town. We are American owned and operated and live on site. We work very hard to make your stay great and really appreciate your business. Thanks Chad Jackson ... more   less
