The toilet would not flush even before it was used. The pool was closed down. Most of the power outlets didn't work. TV had to be programmed and reprogrammed after being turned off. Phone and alarm clock did not work. Ice machine did not work. No refrigerator, microwave or coffee maker. The ac worked fine though.

It appears they have recently updated the room and it is under new management. The room was clean and smelled good. More updates are needed and it would have been nice to have a fridge, but it is much nicer than most of the places we have stayed in Helen. Much, much, much nicer than the Days Inn that we've stayed...

My husband and I spent our July 4th weekend at this hotel and OH MY GOD. The place was absolutely sketchy and nasty. The door to our room had been kicked in and then repaired badly but not replaced. There appeared to be blood on the wall and the bed clothes were nasty. The bathroom had recently been "refurbished" meaning...

We stayed at the Alpine Valley Inn the last time in 2006 I believe. Now coming back for Labor Day weekend and not knowing what to expect, I expected great things. Well, I got neither. They pretty much have not done anything since 2006. It looks like an old motel suite. The beds were hard and things were falling apart....

So, we checked in and payed the first night and left a deposit for the room. We have a short balance to pay at check-out. The next morning the hotel manager busted our door wide open and started to yelled and screaming about the bill. Now keep in mind this manager did not even as a courtesy knock the door...

I called ahead of my visit and told it wasn't a five star motel but to give them a try. I was also told they had upgraded the room my sister and I would be staying in. There was a microwave & fridge as we requested. For the dollar amount I thought it wasn't good but since it was on...

Booked this room through Priceline. In the end, we just ended up laughing. Where to start.....A hole in the bathroom door, a coffee pot and ice bucket but no cups, shampoo but no soap, no washcloths and only 2 towels that were so old you could see through them, a fingernail in the bed, paint chipping off everywhere, an old...
