As we have just joined trip adviser, we thought we would pass on our thoughts on the Larkwood of Lemon Tree B & B with hosts, Anne and Allan. We have stayed here on three or four occasions and have found the hosts, the accommodation, hospitality and breakfasts provided by Anne and Allan, to be first-rate. We have stayed three...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. Ann provided great local information on check in and she brought us tea in the garden. We followed her advice to walk to the marina for dinner, looking up for koalas, but didn't spot any unfortunately. The first morning we had an early start due to a morning boat dive, and...

We booked one night having decided to leave Brisbane during the floods and flew to Newcastle. On telephoning the previous night Alan had confirmed the weather was fine and sunny and that we could arrive before check in time and leave our luggage which we did. We knew nothing of the area and Ann took time off from her jobs...

A Secret hideaway with a fantastic homely atmosphere. On a 12 day road trip this was the most outstanding place we stayed at, so homely and relaxing. 5* Brekky too. Its like staying with your family with 100 relaxation. 100% recommendation here.

An excellent B&B on the outskirts of the town. Nice quiet room, superb breakfast and very helpful and welcoming hosts (and a lovely dog we thought of kidnapping!) Strongly recommended

Fantastic stay, great breakfast! Nice B&B that's a gem and owned by friendly people. I would come again because this stay was just too good. Highly recommended. Hope it doesn't change with time.

This B&B is stunning, and great value too. There's just 3 rooms, all really nicely decorated, and a lovely pool. The fresh fruit and fry-up breakfast was delicious as well, and the hosts are really helpful. One I recommend to everyone heading to Port Stephens.

We stayed at Larkwood for 2 nights and were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The B&B is set in a quiet area of Port Stephens which was perfect if you don't want all the hustle and bustle. There is a great walk through the Koala habitat to the Lemon Tree Marina, which a great little pizza...

This is a delightful B&B on the river leading out to the ocean. It is in a Koala Habitat - with a trail down to the local village along the river. The hostess does a lovely job - it is spotless and very comfortable - except it does not have much privacy. The breakfast was outstanding - I would definitely...
