Staff friendly. Was so glad they told me about the bat boxes, very interesting to watch at dusk. They do need more bat boxes and the gnats/mosquitos were horrible. Campground was average. Dump station in need of repair, sewage backs up when dumping, maybe not...More

The staff is very nice and helpful, however, unfortunately a storm and/or pine beetles have devastated much of the forestation. I found the restrooms and bath house to be spotless and we did enjoy our stay. Senior discount was extremely helpful for us, though.

We stayed there in a cottage for Spring Break last week. It was beautiful! The park was spacious and had many trails to bike and hike. The cottage itself was beautifully remodeled and very clean! The fort was very interesting and our kids loved learning...More

Gnats and mosquitos are always a problem in the summer in the South. We use the backyard bug spray and it keeps them out of your camp site.
