I checked into the Atlanta Hotel, for one week. August 12th-19th 2017. My check out day would have been Saturday morning..... Friday night when I returned from work. My room had been cleaned out by Hotel Staff,, and my belongings had been brought to the office, In error...... The Hotel Staff, thought my checkout day was Friday, even though I was paid up until Saturday morning. When I was given my belongings from the Hotel Management I noticed $475 was missing from my overnight bag, my blue tooth speaker was missing, 4 hats, and a package of underwear, (the clothing items were new). My shampoo, conditioner and body wash were also taken. When I asked the Hotel Management about my missing items, They said, they had not seen them, even though they had cleaned out the room. The Roswell Police were called, and a report was made. PLEASE do not stay at this hotel if you do not have to.....You may become a victim unbeknownst to you......If you do stay, PLEASE do not bring anything of value into the room. The Hotel Staff, and Management are not TRUSTWORTHY and will ROB you at the blink of an eye, using their hotel key, and will deny the theft afterwards!!!
After losing their franchise because they couldn't meet the standards their corporate office asked for, the owners renamed it the Brookwood Inn and continued their slow but steady trip downhill. I'm surprised the Roswell police haven't set up a sub-station there with all of the shady activities.
You know those really nasty hotels the bad guys in movies always hide out in? You will be wishing you were in one of those.
I had no option but to stay at the Atlanta. All other hotels were sold out within a 50 mile radius. If I had a car I would have slept there. Dirty and run down but a step up from sleeping on the sidewalk. But just barely. On the positive side, the bed was ok and the toilet paper unused.
Clean but very worn out. No housekeeping, nor fresh towels. No coffee in the room or lobby, no alarm clock ( they did give a wake up call). Good location near restaurants. No apparent safety issues, did have security on the property. OK for the price being I was alone, not a family place.
Its a ok place to stay if you just stay to yourself people are nice and friendly staff is helpful maids ok you dont have many channels to choice from close to the stores and resturants its and ok place you get what you pay for
