If you want to splurge, this is the property to go to! The staff is amazing and the property is beautiful. We stayed at the Lodge since it is more for couples and the Cloister is more for families. However, we liked both properties. My only complaint would be for the money spent, I think we should have received free...

Couples golf trip, picked The Lodge over the main Cloisters or the Beach Club properties of Sea Island brand because of golf proximity. We did package golf for the 2 days on the Sea Island property, nice savings vs ala carte golf rates. We played Plantation and Seaside on property - Seaside is the better of those two. Greens were...

We just returned from a 5 day stay at The Lodge (our 2d visit). The staff at both The Lodge & Cloister is very cordial and, for the most part very helpful. Special kudos to the front desk staff at The Lodge, in particular David and Ike, and the entire Golf staff, including Joey, our outstanding forecaddie for rounds on...

Despite busyness of Easter is Sea Island, everyone at this property makes you feel welcome and special. Every detail is attended to from BMWs and bikes for use to setting up Easter baskets for us, turndown service w treats, ease of complimentary shuttle. Amazing customer service from butlers to cleaning staff to golf employee and managers.

Stayed at The Lodge for a 4 day weekend with the family. The staff was exceptional and the food was delicious. Everything was clean and beautifully done (rooms too). Byron at the front door made sure our stay was perfect. We will definitely be returning thanks to Byron.

While staying at the Beach Club at the Cloisters, we decided to go over to the Lodge to have breakfast at the Oak Room Bar. It was a beautiful Friday morning and we were greeted promptly at the door and taken to ... the best table in the restaurant! We were seated at the end of the restaurant, over looking...

I've stayed at Sea Island's Cloister Hotel and The Lodge at Sea Island on a number of occasions. The Cloister has the feel of an old European manor with several well-appointed meeting rooms featuring stunning oriental rugs and original artwork. Accommodations and staff will surpass every traveler's expectation of class and comfort. The Lodge is on the south end of...

We visited the weekend after Thanksgiving. I have never been to this part of the country, and I found it to be gorgeous and romantic. The lodge at sunset was just incredible! There was a gentleman playing bagpipes as we sipped on cocktails outside. It was a little surreal. The lodge itself seems to have few rooms and did not...

We came here in late August 2016--this was our second time in Sea Island and first time staying at the Lodge, and we already booked our next trip to the Lodge for August 2017. We rarely go back to the same destination/hotel, because there are just so many places to go see and visit. However, Sea Island is one of...
