The resort on Little St. Simon's Island is wonderful. We stayed in the River House and enjoyed every minute. We will return again, and bring family. The island is a treasure, and the naturalists on staff are happy to show you all its wonders. The entire kitchen staff is superb, serving up creative-yet-familiar dishes for everyone to enjoy. Customer services...

We just finished our third visit to The Lodge on Little St. Simons Island, and again we were totally impressed across the board with the lodging, staff, meals and location. Yes, this wonderful getaway place is expensive, but my wife and I would not trade the three nights and three days experience for anything. This time, we brought my brother...

A rare opportunity to view the pristine beauty of a barrier island on Georgia's coast while enjoying all the comforts of home plus gourmet meals and opportunities to hike, bike, boat, fish, birdwatching and stroll a beautiful beach!

Beautiful surroundings and rustic feel make this a cool spot to check out. This is probably a dream trip for the would be but inexperienced naturalist. My kids loved the experience from the ferry ride in to the water and wildlife. The island boasts lodging for about 30 so it makes a great retreat for large groups or families. There...

Excellent place to visit!! Private beach, excellent food, biking, fishing....if you enjoy those things and love meeting interesting people this is the place for you. We did experience mosquitos while we were there but it was right after a hurricane. We took long pants and long sleeve shirts and wore our bathing suits underneath and of course, wore lots of...

Our first visit to LSSI was two years ago for a 70th birthday celebrationwith our five grown children - no spouses or grandchildren . We knew then that we wanted to return in late October with the entire family - 21 of us, ten of those being grandchildren, to celebrate our 50th anniversary. The entire process from the initial reservation,...

We attended a private function on the island and weren't sure what to expect. Hurricane Matthew had just come through a week and half earlier. Everything was perfectly lovely during the stay. The only real damage done by the hurricane other than some downed trees was the standing water bred record numbers of mosquitos. Having said that, the staff on...

I just returned from a two night stay at The Lodge. It's perfectly charming, and wonderfully special. It's rare that you find such an unspoiled place, and I left feeling like I had a truly unique experience. Before I tell you all about my favorite things let me tell you that it would not be for everyone. If you expect...

We traveled to the island in early May and the weather was very nice. The naturalists are very knowledgeable and made our trip a wonderful...

My wife and I visited Little St. Simons Island after searching for an all-inclusive vacation spot in the Southeast. Wow...what a discovery! This place definitely is not for everyone. If you are looking to be pampered and have a 5-star experience, go to The Cloister at Sea Island. However, if you are looking to just chill out, socialize with people...
