Didn't know what to expect as we booked some last minute accommodation off the main road. What a beautiful surprise for us and our 9 year old daughter. A gorgeous cottage with oodles of play area, a veggie garden to source our dinner from and a magical walk through the ferny creek track. What a shame we live in another...

We had the Hop Pickers and Pearls and loved them both. We knew it was going to be rustic so it was exactly as we expected. Very peaceful and beautiful. We shopped at the general store in Ellendale but found it had little choice.

Pearls cottage. Hmmm. Where were the animals? We saw a rabbit and a wallaby on the road coming in but none at the property. Things were NOT as described....it was NOT a village but an Old cottage with no-one in attendance....NOT the receptionist before or AFTER our stay....she was supposed to meet us but after 15 mins of waiting we...

We rented the Old Farmhouse for four of us and arrived to beautiful views over the countryside from the hilltop setting. Our special treat was being invited to help ourselves from the guest fruit and vegetable garden. We enjoyed snow peas, zucchini, broad beans, beetroot, raspberries, rhubarb and blueberries and also collected three fresh eggs from the henhouse. Utterly quiet other...

We stayed in the Pearls cottage. Initially thought it was a bit small but really its absolutely adorable and cosy. Access to the organic vegies etc in the garden. Collecting fresh eggs from the free range chickens. There is a private rainforest wall on the property with lookouts and picnic spots. We used it as our base for the Mount...

Had some mouse interaction and the bed not real comfy but location and walks were outstanding. We found the location easy to find the views were outstanding and a shame we were booked elsewhere a larger lounge would be good if more space available

Loved our stay here, though it's not for the Four Star crowd. Our cottage was small and very basic though the bed was comfortable and the place was clean, with everything we needed. The highlight was the ability to forage for our own meal in the organic veggie garden collect eggs from the chook run and fruit from the small...

Accommodation was in separate cabins in a large peaceful property kilometres away from the main road. Set on a hill with a spectacular valley view in front, and a large pine forest hill behind, the setting was just gorgeous. Our cottage was called 'The Hop Pickers'. It had a rustic feel, but it was clean and comfortable, with a good,...

I booked this place purely on location, being close to Lake Pedder Road so I could do a quick side trip on motorbike. We arrived much later than originally planned, about 5pm without any supplies or knowledge of what would be available. There is a cafe but place was unmanned. We rang and was told our cabin was ready, key...

We stayed in one of the hop pickers cottages. It was beautifully maintained and well furnished and equipped. Lovely verandah for sitting and admiring the view. We walked around the property, on some of the walking trails, and saw lots of echidnas. Picked veggies from the wonderful garden and collected eggs for breakfast. Pizza from the cafe was delivered to...
