Stayed here a couple times on recent business. Nice modern feel with clean rooms. On the first trip I was assigned a room that appeared to be under repairs as the A/C was not working and vanity light was taken down. Problem was immediately resolved and I was given a different room. Rooms are very spacious with space to work....

This is our 2nd time staying at this hotel. I am a graduate of Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA so I am in the area a lot for football games and to visit friends. Although I only live an hour away I sometimes stay over for a night. This is always the first hotel I check for availability. The...

Okay place to stay, needs a little attention do not stay innRoom 213, it backs up to the elevator and is exceedingly noisy! The first night wasn't bad, but the second night the hotel was sold out and I think the elevator ran all night long.

Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent stay during Georgia Southern University's fall graduation. If we don't hear from our guests we cannot hope to maintain the high quality you expect from a Marriott property. You are right - the night you stayed with us was very busy due to all the family members in and out for graduation...

Pros: - The rooms are very nice. Spacious with a quality work space and sofa, along with a comfortable bed. Room was clean, comfortable and well stocked. - Friendly staff. All my interactions with them were positive. - Location is good if you're looking to stay near campus - which is only about 5 minutes away, if that. Plenty of...

The hotel is located at a busy intersection of Statesboro near GSU which is difficult to exit out of the hotel parking if you are wanting to head towards the town of Statesboro. This is a very clean hotel located in a nice well lit area. The hotel grounds are well maintained. Front desk check-in was a breeze and I...

My company booked an event in the convention center next to the Springhill Suites in Statesboro. The hotel staff was exceptional, the convention staff was exceptional, the fire outside made a chilly night cozy. We required some printed copies of some materials for our meeting, and the staff happily accommodated. The overnight guest rooms for myself and 5 co-workers were...

The hotel was in a good location and the room size was very nice (double queen room). We did have our fair share of problems. The thermostat was not working and we could not increase the temperature of the room above 65°F. We called to ask for assistance and a clerk came to our room, stated it wasn't working and...

Our family stayed here for one night prior to visiting GSU with our daughter. I used points to make the booking and we enjoyed our short stay. Check in was very efficient and friendly. Our room was small but laid out well and was clean. Parking was available and was free. The fire pit in front of the hotel entrance...

I stayed here with my family recently shortly after the area had hosted people fleeing a hurricane. While the hordes of people had been hard on the hotel, I feel it is one of the better places to stay in the area. While a few things were not working in the room, we were offered another room, but just elected...

Last weekend our group came to Statesboro for a wedding that did not go as planned. The wedding was set to be at the Botanical Gardens, until Hurricane Matthew ruined that. The morning of the big day we had to scramble to find a new venue!! Thankfully the ballroom at the Springhill, where our room block was, was still available....
