Beautiful wooded campground. Robins, cardinals, Canadian geese, squirrels (even saw a black one). When you look at the campground map, the land is NOT flat. Loops are terraced to the lake. Individual sites have good spacing, asphalt surfaces for RV but very old and irregular. Few sites are level. Terrain varies. When you back into some sites, the rear of...

Very handy location. Visited Martin Luther King Museum; CNN, Coca Cola; Preeident Carter Museum. Each day as we return from our days ventures, I have to remark- what a pretty sight. From the lakes to the mountain to the woods. Very peaceful, well cared for.

Stayed here two nights passing through the area. This park is beautiful, and our camp sight was a fairly level full hookup with a spectacular view of Stone Mountain. Plan to stay here again, but for longer next time, because we want to get our paddle boards out on the lake and explore the area more.

This was our second trip to the park in eight years. This time, we bought our motorcycle to travel the area. Nice scenic views everywhere we rode. The campsite had a beautiful view which overlooks the lake. Pros: Awesome for families. A ton of fun things to do. Cons: The cable for TV is analog (fuzzy signal), and the wifi...

Our family stayed here the week of april 15,2016 and had a great time. This park is beautiful. It has a very woodsy feel. Most of the campers had big RVs as well us so we didn't need to use the facilities much but they are addiquit.

We loved our five-night stay at Stone Mountain Family Campground. What a beautiful place to stay while still close enough to access Atlanta attractions! The campgrounds including bathrooms are immaculate, and the staff was so helpful and friendly!

Very friendly staff. Check in was a breeze. We did not have a reservation, we were just passing thru town. Very woodsy and lovely campground. We requested water, electric and sewer for our RV. Our site was toward the top of the loop. They do offer water and electric only closer to the water. There is a dump station just...

My husband and I stopped here on our road trip. Staff is very friendly and knowledgable. Facilities are clean and accessible 24 hours per day. Primitive sites are super tight but not too many people in April. Wouldn't want to be there when full. Pad was uneven and washed out. But still a pleasant experience.
