As a family of 4 we spent 2 nights (1 night in the hostel, 1 night in the pod). The pods are ideal for 2 but makes for a cosy 4 birth for 1 night. The dorm was spacious and had a shower next door so quiet and ideal. The kitchen has everything you need. The photos are cleverly

Thank you for your review, it's fantastic to hear that you enjoyed your stay. Our pods contain 2 x double beds as advertised so are great for a couple or family with smaller children. Our rooms are a variety of sizes owing to the limitations of the original design of the building. We will be sure to check out the sofa bed in Juliet and always endeavour to address problems as soon as we are made aware of them, We are glad you enjoyed Stratford and hope that you will consider YHA again for your next stay away.

Booked with a large group, staff friendly and cheerful (especially the gentleman serving breakfast), plenty of indoor and outdoor space for kids and adults. Room was large and clean with en-suite facilities, 5 minute drive to town. First time at YHA but will definitely go again

Thank you for this lovely review, it's brilliant to hear that you enjoyed your first time at YHA. You are quite right that we are a charity and every penny you spend with us goes back in to helping us provide educational and recreational stays for young people and their families with disadvantages. We hope to welcome you back to YHA soon!

Beautiful location just outside Stratford (car needed, though). Lovely old house with good common areas. En-suite room for two (bunk) was disappointingly 'pokey', although the eight-person dormitory we viewed seemed nice and spacious.

If you've always wanted to see something at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and stop overnight nearby but are on a budget then Stratford YHA is ideal. It's just under a 2 mile walk/drive into Stratford from the hostel. It's an impressive Georgian building that's been modernized in

There is parking near to the Theatre on the ring road, a small muti story, also in the town. Walking would take about 30 minutes. There are buses which would probably be the Wellsebourne - Stratford route, I am sure the YHA will tell you the details. Is there no information on their website.

We did not use public transport. However I checked for you and it appears there is a bus. It is operated by Stagecoach Warwickshire. Monday to Saturday - not sure re Sunday. It is number X18. Starts adjacent to Nat West Bank in centre of Stratford. 10 minutes to Tiddington then a further 2 minutes to Alveston which is a short walk to YHA. Suggest you double check on line with bus operator and /or YHA - there are very helpful.
