This place is unreal a real old style farmhouse B & B, set in a stunning location which is so peaceful with rooms over looking the gardens with a large amount of wildlife. The whole place is spotless the rooms are comfortable big beds nice bathrooms and quality bedding and towels, Jane is a fantastic host and very kind and welcoming, the breakfast is for me the highlight real food cooked properly bacon and sausage of the best quality and eggs from their own chickens along with real fried bread was a thing not many places do any more but was fantastic. There is also a good selection of fresh fruit and plenty of tea, coffee and toast can’t wait to return

The visit was superb! The hosts were lovely - nothing was too much trouble and their son even helped to bump start our motorbike as the battery had drained! The setting and rooms are beautiful, idyllic and peaceful and the bed to die for! Breakfast was amazing and really sets you up for the day. The local town of Richmond has some wonderful bars and restaurants, particularly the Tapas. Lots of places to visit or walk to in the local area. I couldn’t recommend this place enough! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Absolutely loved this beautiful farmhouse B & B which felt like a home from home.
Situated approximately 3 miles from Richmond and off the A66 in a quiet location. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. The price is very reasonable, especially if you are a single traveller and Jane goes out of her way to make sure that everything is perfect for your stay.
Beautiful home cooked produce with eggs straight from the hens and honey still on the comb. Happy to help with places to visit and great on local information. Very happy to recommend this place (as long as you have a car) it is easy to find and I would definitely stay again.

Whashton Springs is a truly exceptional working farm and located in such a rural area yet only 7 miles from Richmond. The farmhouse, courtyard and accommodation were so picturesque and very fitting for the location. The room offered everything we could have asked for, was impeccably clean and extremely comfortable. We were offered a very substantial breakfast – just what we needed to start our day.
Jane, the owner, was very receptive and made herself available to meet any needs we had. What a lovely lady.
Would we visit again – without a shadow of a doubt. Thank you.

So pleased to have found this lovely spot in the countryside…. fabulous views and super accommodation. Jane and the staff were so friendly and helpful 😀
Breakfast was great - especially the eggs from the farm’s hens; we were also quite centrally located to access some great restaurants too!!

Well placed to travel to lots of castles and other places of interest 👍

Would definitely recommend this lovely property.

Only bugbear - the road which passes the end of the drive is rather wild 🤪 - but this is the local highways….. cars travel far too fast!!

We had a lovely warm welcome from Jane, who met us as we arrived, and showed us to our beautiful comfortable courtyard room. If you are looking for a peaceful relaxing place to stay, yet only 3 miles from Richmond , this is it! The farmhouse itself felt homely and well loved, and delicious breakfasts were served in the dining room overlooking the garden, with many birds on the feeders, including a woodpecker and a nuthatch. Thank you Jane for a wonderful three night getaway, we would love to come back.

Spent 2 nights here for a weekend break. Stayed in room 8 which was in the courtyard in a converted outbuilding (a photo on the wall suggested it was previously a cow byre?). Lovely, cosy room - compact, but excellent use of space meant there was everything in this room you could need, right down to an ironing board (that we didn't use, but someone else might) and a torch (which we did make use of). Breakfast was perfect, just the right amount of freshly cooked, local produce which was extremely tasty. There was also a good selection of cereals as well as fruit juice, fruit salad and tea and coffee. Jane and her team provided us with friendly, good, old fashioned service. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Lovely working family farm .Clean, comfortable rooms leading onto sweet courtyard. Fab breakfast served by friendly chirpy staff who totally satisfied my need for 2 cups of tea first at breakfast but then suffer coffee envy by providing me and my husband with a pot of coffee to finish off breakfast. This coincided with the family sitting at the great table in the window recess, finishing their breakfast and leaving and my husband and myself having our coffee watching the many little birds and a cheeky woodpecker feeding just feet away...So nice...
Jane, owner, always ready to help with advice.
Some quirky bits including a 3 legged adorable friendly ginger cat that we guests argued as to who was going to accidentally pack him in our luggage to take home..

We stayed here for a couple of nights and on the first night when we arrived Jane greeted us, we arrived late in the evening and we asked if there was somewhere local where we could get some food. She suggested a pub that wasn't too far away, she even phoned them up and booked a table for us.
The rooms were spotless and the bed was so comfortable. It seemed like Jane has thought of everything, there was a fan, a torch and even an umbrella.
Breakfast was freshly cooked and we had the full English which filled us for the day. We were served by a very friendly lady. I could not recommend this place enough and if we are back in the area we will definitely stop there again.

We booked this accommodation based on the fabulous reviews and were not disappointed. We had a lovely welcome from Jane and were shown to our courtyard room where we were given the relevant information and left to do our quick turnaround to go into Richmond for dinner.
Our room for 2 adults and a child was spacious and extremely comfortable. The place has obviously been carefully restored with guest comfort and pleasing aesthetics in mind whilst retaining the traditional farmhouse style.
Breakfast was plentiful and freshly prepared and nothing was too much trouble for Jane and the lovely lady who was waiting on us (sorry we didn’t catch her name). And what a beautiful view from the breakfast room.
We would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely visit again if in the area.
