A handful of authentic Bali-style houses in a tropical garden, staff that gives you the feeling of visiting friends, marvelous Balinese food (sometimes topped with European desserts), beautiful spa - this place opens the heart! Although I was there as part of a yoga group, I can recommend Villa Boreh also for travelers that just want to spend a few...

We stayed for 6 nights in the corner Alang Alang, my kids nick named it the giant tree house. Our days consisted of swimming in the two beautiful pools and eating the delicious meals prepared by the gorgeous staff. Occasionally we dragged ourselves alway from the resort and did the local waterfall trip and the 6am local market visit -...

Warning: Not for the faint-hearted, and weak-willed lovers of lush greenery and natural by-the-coast resort living! Content ahead might be too tantalising for you to withstand from booking the next flight out to Denpasar and then trying to control your bladder/gag reflex(3hours up and down the meandering roads of North Bali is no easy feat, empty stomach or not) But...

I had 4 days spare after a retreat in Bali and found myself at Villa Boreh. I felt embraced by the family team, nurtured by the delicious food and felt free and supported to just relax by the pool.
